Yasopp is a sniper of the Red Hair Pirates. Yasopp is believed to be the best sniper in One Piece who helped Shanks to be on his current position in Yonkou. There are some interesting facts about Yasopp in One Piece that you need to know!

1. Usopp’s Father

Yasopp has been a pirate since Usopp was a child. His dream was supported by his wife, Buchina. To be able to become a pirate, Yasopp was willing to left his small family. Right now, Usopp doesn’t know much about Yasopp. All he knows is that Yasopp is a member of Shanks’ Pirates. 

Usopp also inherited Yasopp’s ability who is talented to become a sniper. Both of them are considered to be the skilled snipers in One Piece.

2. High Accuracy

As one of the best snipers, of course Yasopp has the marksmanship that cannot be underestimated. It’s fair if Yasopp is very strong as a sniper. He has been a part of the Red Hair Pirates for 20 years.

When he met young Luffy, Yasopp has been known as a great sniper. Yasopp show-off his skill to Luffy by shooting an apple from a quite long distance. Luffy who saw the crushed apple was amazed. Yasopp said that this is not a big deal.

He even claimed that he was capable of something crazier, shooting an ant antennas from a 100 feet away. Yasopp also explained that when he shot the ant antenna, he could do it without injuring other body parts. This is why many people argue that Yasopp is skilled than Van Augur of the Blackbeard Pirates.

3. The Relationship between Yasopp and Vista

When meeting with one of the commanders of the Whitebeard, Vista at Marine Ford, Yasopp looked at him with an unusual look. Likewise with Vista who does the same thing. Many fans suspected that both of them had problems that had not been resolved in the past. Hopefully, they will still be able to meet again to resolve their problem!

4. Shanks Asked Yasopp To Be His Crew Member

The last interesting fact is Shanks who asked Yasopp to join his crew. Two years after Roger’s execution and 3 years before Usopp was born, Shanks came to Yasopp's residence. There, Shanks asked young Yasopp to join him.

Yasopp was shocked when he was asked by the pirate like Shanks and of course he accepted the offer because being a pirate was his dream. From here, we can conclude that Yasopp already had a great reputation as a sniper even when he was still young.
