On Shonen Jump issue 3 and 4 book covers, Don Krieg from One Piece was drawn by the author of Boku no Hero Academia, Kohei Horikoshi. It's surprising enough that he drew a less popular character like Don Krieg, it’ll be cool if he drew other characters like Law or Ace.
Don Krieg's drawing here was drawn as a message to readers to diligently wash their hands and wear masks to avoid getting infected with COVID-19. “Listen here, kids. Remember what your mother said, wear your mask. Wash your hands with soap and avoid crowded places. This is to reduce COVID-19 infection and the venomous weapon I equip to enemies,” said Don Krieg on the cover.
For your information, when he was in high school, Horikoshi sent a Smoker drawing to Oda on Usopp Gallery Pirates vol 23 released in 2002. Oda mentioned the drawing on SBS vol 77 when Boku no Hero Academia started to get launched in Shonen Jump and was happy because Horikoshi could be serialized in the same magazine as him.
