The Last of Us Part II is an exclusive game released for PlayStation 4. Fans have been anticipating the sequel game by Naughty Dog. it’s been seven years since the release of the first game and the game presents a great storyline and great graphic quality that pleases the player’s eyes. Besides the graphics and well-done mechanics, the characters also draw a lot of attention, not to mention famous voice actors/actresses are the ones behind their voices.

1. Troy Baker - Joel Miller

If you have played the first The Last of Us then you are familiar with Troy baker. He is a senior voice actor and also the voice of Joel Miller. Troy now returns as Joel’s voice with a heavier voice knowing that Joel is a lot older know.

2. Ashley Johnson - Ellie

Ashley Johnson lends her voice again for Ellie in The Last of Us Part II. Unlike Ellie’s voice before, Ellie’s voice in The Last of Us Part II is a voice of a teenager. But you can still hear bits of Ellie’s old voice.

3. Laura Bailey - Abby

Abby may be the most controversial character in The Last of Us Part II. But no one expected that Laura Bailey, a veteran voice actress, is the one behind her. Laura is also the voice actress of Fetch in inFamous Secon Son and inFamous First light, Nadine Ross from the Uncharted series, and Mary Jane in marvel’s Spider-Man.

4. Jeffrey Pierce - Tommy

Jeffrey Pierce is also an actor that’s involved in voice acting works. In The Last of Us Part II, Jeffrey is the voice of Tommy, the brother of Joel. he also lends his voice for other video games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: WWII. 

5. Shannon Woodward - Dina

Dina is an intriguing character in The Last of Ust Part II. Since she is around Ellie’s age the company will need someone that can mimic a teenager’s voice. So, Naughty Dog hires Shannon Woodward to be Dina’s voice and also becomes Shannon’s first experience in voice acting.

6. Stephen A. Chang - Jesse

Besides Dina, The Last of Us Part II also introduced a new character named Jesse. The Asian character is voiced by Stephen A. Chang that also worked as an actor. Similar to Shannon, this is Stephen’s first job as a voice actor.

7. Ashley Scott - Maria

Ashley Scott is an actress and a model. She is well-known in American TV series working in  Jericho, Birds of Prey, and Dark Angel. Ashley voiced Maria, the wife of Tommy.

8. Patrick Fugit - Owen

Naughty Dog hires actor Patrick Fugit to Owen. Patrick often stars in famous Hollywood films such as Almost Famous, Cirque de Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, Gone Girl, and the Outcast series. This is Patrick’s first experience becoming a voice actor in a video game.

9. Alejandro Edda - Manny

Alejandro Edda is a veteran actor that appeared in several Hollywood films. He portrayed El Chapo in Narcos: Mexico. His Mexican accent is the reason why Naughty Dog hires him to voice manny in The Last of Us Part II.

10. Ian Alexander - Lev

Ian Alexander is a transmasculine actor that rose to fame after appearing in The OA as Buck Vu. In The Last of Us Part II, Ian is the voice of Lev and also his first experience as a voice actor in a video game.

11. Chelsea Tavares - Nora

Naughty Dog works with the beautiful actress Chelsea Tavares that became famous after playing as Cranberry in Unfabulouys from Nickelodeon. In The Last of Us Part II, Chelsea is the voice of Nora.

12. Jeffrey Wright - Isaac

Jeffrey Wright is a veteran actor that appeared in several Hollywood films. The man born in 1965 is known for his role as Felix Leiter in James Bond: Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and No Time to Die. Naughty Dog trusted Jeffrey Wright to voice Isaac.

13. Ashly Burch - Mel

Video games may be familiar with the name Ashly Burch. Ashly is known for her work as Aloy’s voice actress in Horizon Zero Dawn. Thanks to her unique voice, Naughty Dog asks her to voice Mel in The Last of Us Part II. 

14. Victoria Grace - Yara

Last but least is Victoria Grace, she also worked in anime films such as Tokyo Godfathers and Mirai. Her talent as a voice actress makes Naughty Dog ask her to voice Yara in The Last of Us Part II.
