Coach Adyy Reveals Why RRQ Kazu Failed in the FFWS Global Finals 2025 CS Mode

Unfortunately, RRQ Kazu's journey in the FFWS Global Finals 2025 CS Mode wasn't smooth sailing. In their first match, they lost to All Gamers 0-2 and were relegated to the Lower Bracket. Despite a 2-0 victory over GOW Esports, RRQ's progress was halted by HEAVY, losing 1-2. This result was certainly disappointing.

Regarding RRQ Kazu's declining performance compared to previous competitions, coach Adi "Adyy" Gustiawan stated that in previous tournaments, his players were able to focus on practicing the Clash Squad (CS) mode. However, now they have to split their training schedule between CS and BR modes. "In previous tournaments, we were able to focus more on playing Clash Squad (CS) regardless of the BR mode tournaments. However, in the last few (tournaments), we've encountered difficulties because training hours in CS mode have to be divided with BR mode," Adyy told Dunia Games (DG) exclusively.

Adyy added that separating CS and BR mode competitions in one competition has a significant impact. For example, if they were combined, the time between modes would feel quite short. Adyy stated that this wasn't the reason behind RRQ Kazu's poor performance in every CS mode tournament. However, he felt he needed more time to train optimally.

"Even though the events are separate, the transition time from BR to CS mode is relatively short. So, it's difficult to coordinate. While that's not our reason, the training camp process for the students could be more objective and structured if they had sufficient time to practice in specific modes," Adyy added. Finally, he assessed the change in the CS mode meta between the past and the current FFWS Global Finals 2025 lies in the loadout.

"The difference lies more in the loadout," he concluded.
