Vampire Survivor is a game that is so popular that it has spawned a mobile version that has been downloaded by millions of people. Those of you who enjoy playing it on mobile probably don't realize that there are striking differences between the PC and mobile versions.
The reason is, there are a number of things that are not on PC but are on mobile, and vice versa. Understandably, the two have fundamental differences in that the PC version is paid while the mobile version is free.
Dunia Games will now invite you to discuss the striking differences between Vampire Survivor on PC and mobile. Are you curious about the differences? The following is a complete discussion regarding the striking differences between Vampire Survivor on PC and mobile.
1. Co-op System
To play in Vampire Survivor co-op, you must have two controllers connected to your PC. This applies to mobile, especially Android where you have to play in landscape mode. While this can be done, it is not the easiest or most convenient arrangement.
It's definitely a lot easier to crowd around a monitor than crowd around a phone screen, especially if you're trying to play with four people. If you play alone, the mobile version is good, but when it comes to a group, the PC is a good platform.
2. Regarding the Update
Generally you will get more information about updates earlier and more often when playing it on PC. However, it should be noted that the co-op update was actually released for Android a few days earlier than for PC.
Joining the Beta on Android is also much easier, considering that Google easily gives you the option to apply for this.
3. How about the Price?
One of the most prominent differences between the mobile and PC versions is the price. While it's cheap on PC, you have to buy it and then buy the DLC if you want it, whereas on mobile, it's a free game.
The reason is, in the mobile version, this game has integrated clans, although it's not annoying. Indeed, it will be more difficult for Poncle to place ads on the PC version. The only paid part of the mobile version is the DLC which costs the same as the PC version.
4. Integrated Ads
With mobile games, comes the inevitable advertising, especially with regard to free mobile games. Admittedly, Poncle has done an excellent job working on the commercials for Vampire Survivors. For the most part, you can play the game without ever seeing an ad. However, the ads are integrated in such a way that you can progress faster in the game and get a second chance in each round.
If you die during the round, before the 30 minutes are up, you can watch an ad to revive with half health. After the round is over, you are given the opportunity to watch an ad for additional bonus gold.

This little tweak to the game is a great way to integrate ads while still giving you the choice whether you want to participate in it or not. The use of ads to offer slightly faster progress in games is so well done that you almost wish you could pick up the same option on PC.
5. How is the Control Scheme?
In terms of gameplay, there is not much difference between the two games. Each round lasts in 30-minute increments, and you collect gems until you level up and can get new upgrades, but the movement scheme changes completely thanks to the different format. When playing on PC, you can completely switch between playing on a keyboard to playing with a controller.
If you set it up correctly, you can play with a real joystick, but on mobile, you can only play with a touchscreen joystick. The touchscreen format makes it more difficult to make sharp turns and react quickly. There may also be a problem displaying something on your screen causing the touch controls to not work. The touchscreen format also means you can't take advantage of the game's secrets and codes. Therefore, the PC version offers a superior control scheme and more options to customize that control scheme.
6. Stage Maps
When you're trying to find the relics placed in each stage, the ability to unlock the map can help. The map will now only show you what relics are there, like the Blank Book in the Inland Library, but which direction they are in and how close they are, and the mobile version of the game doesn't bring the same.
You can pause the game, but the map doesn't appear on the pause screen, meaning you have to figure it all out on your own. Memorizing where relics are is the only guaranteed way to know where you can find something without leveling up.
7. The Bestiary
One of the neat features in Vampire Survivor PC is the bestiary. This allows you to track the enemies you encounter. In the bestiary, you know not only how many enemies you have killed, but also their statistics.
This is present in the menu screen of the PC version, but unfortunately it doesn't appear to be present in the mobile version of the game. You can track all your achievements via the mobile version's 'collection' tab, just not your exact kill count for every opponent you face.
8. Modding this Game
Mods can make your game easier or harder, depending on which you prefer. Whether you like Jojo's Bizzare Adventures or Castlevania, there are mods to give you more of a specific type of content in Vampire Survivors.
Some mods add powerful quality updates, allowing you to buy items in bulk, such as Eggs. Several available quality of life mods help the game run smoother. Apart from that, it also helps you complete the more difficult parts of the game, such as the Boss Rash, so you can get every achievement you want.
But unfortunately, game modding is something you can only do on PC. On mobile, the game does not allow you to modify the game. This means that even if you buy the DLC, you're still using what Poncle put into the game.
