Claw Esports was born from a simple dream: to prove that a small team with big passion can compete on the Indonesian esports stage. Formed around 2021 by a group of young gamers who often take part in PUBG Mobile community tournaments, Claw Esport started from home scrims and independent practice. Unlike big teams formed by sponsors or large organizations, Claw emerged from the community.

They name themselves "Claw" because of their philosophy: clawing at every opportunity, no matter how small, until it becomes real.

Claw Esport's main focus from the start has been the PUBG Mobile division. Even though they are not a team with luxurious facilities, they rely on teamwork, hard work and strategies that are continuously honed through competition experience.

Young players such as Zyro, Drax, and Elmi became the initial foundation of the team. Even though they don't have big names yet, they have mental steel. Claw made several surprising appearances in scrims against big teams. One of the most memorable moments was when they eliminated the top team in an online community tournament, using only minimal communication via cell phone.

Personal Story: Almost Disbanded, Then Rises

2022 will be a crucial point for Claw Esport. They lost in a row in several tournaments. One of the mainstay players decided to resign due to pressure and personal conditions. There was talk of disbanding the team.

But in one internal evaluation session, the captain said:

> If we stop now, everything we've been through will be in vain. Claw isn't just a team, it's a family.

These words inspired the enthusiasm of all the players. They not only survived, but strengthened management, recruited new players, and started regularly participating in professional community tournaments. From there the team's direction began to change.

Entered the top 8 of PUBG Mobile Development League (PMDL) Qualifier 2024.

Become one of the community teams invited to scrim with PMPL teams.

Several of the players were noticed and recruited by big national teams.

Team Philosophy: Steel Mentality, Family Heart

Claw Esport builds a strong philosophy: steel mentality, family heart. This means that they compete with toughness, but within the team, all players are considered brothers. No caste, no ego.

They also open community training via Discord, providing a place for novice players to develop and even take part in trials to the main team. Claw believes regeneration is the key to surviving in the tough world of esports.

The Future of Claw Esports

Now Claw Esports has started to attract the attention of local sponsors and gaming influencers. They are building a simple training base (bootcamp) and preparing to expand to other divisions such as MLBB and Free Fire.

With an increasingly solid structure and an unyielding spirit that never goes away, Claw Esport is slowly but surely ready to claw its way among the best Indonesian teams.
