However, another equally interesting aspect is the fact that KAGENDRA achieved their best performance in MDL Indonesia history. Reaching the Grand Finals of MDL ID S12 is KAGENDRA's best achievement in the past year, since MDL ID S10. While a 4-0 defeat in the Grand Finals was not the outcome they had hoped for, KAGENDRA nonetheless achieved their best performance.

A Look Back at KAGENDRA's Journey: From Qualifiers to the Grand Finals of MDL ID Season 12

Speaking about KAGENDRA's journey in MDL ID Season 12, we'll first go back to MDL ID Season 10, where KAGENDRA first competed at the MDL Indonesia level. Initially, KAGENDRA emerged as champions after competing in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Indonesia Community Cup (MICC) Season 2 qualifiers. KAGENDRA succeeded in building on the success of their predecessors, Warmil Geng and Xalvador Ozon.

In their debut season, KAGENDRA emerged as a contender. Daniel and his teammates progressed through the Progressive round and advanced to the playoffs. However, their journey was ended by Bigetron Academy in the Round of 8 with a score of 3-1. A quite impressive debut, promising that KAGENDRA is ready to achieve even better results next season.

KAGENDRA's journey in Season 11 has been somewhat bumpy. Stumbling in the Group Stage, Daniel and his teammates repeatedly battled through the Progressive Round and advanced to the playoffs. Unfortunately, the Round of 8 proved to be a nightmare for KAGENDRA. This time, they were defeated by Alter Ego X with a score of 1-3. Their dream of becoming champions continued into the next season.

With a more solid roster and vision, KAGENDRA successfully navigated the Group Stage and Progressive Round. Revenge in the playoffs proved a significant obstacle for KAGENDRA. However, their hopes of achieving their championship goal seemed real at MDL ID Season 12. KAGENDRA broke their curse of being stopped in the Round of 8 by defeating Team Liquid Academy ID.

Not only that, KAGENDRA's dream of becoming champions continued after they defeated Natus Vincere Junior in a fierce duel with a score of 3-2. Once again, KAGENDRA would face the same opponent that had previously stopped them in the MDL Indonesia playoffs: Bigetron Academy. Unfortunately, the nightmare repeated itself for KAGENDRA, as they suffered defeat to Bigetron.

Despite another defeat, KAGENDRA achieved their best performance, becoming the first non-affiliated team to advance to the Grand Final of MDL ID Season 12. On behalf of management, KAGE Latupaps expressed his gratitude and congratulations to Bigetron for their victory. "To all the spectators here, thank you especially to Balagendra, thank you for supporting us. I'm sorry we lost 4-0 without a fight, but at least we, the unexpected, made it to the Grand Final," said Latupaps, manager.

"That's the bottom line, a non-affiliated team. Thank you everyone. Now, KAGENDRA takes our leave from MDL. Thank you, MDL Indonesia, for this Grand Final," Latupaps added.
