Team Liquid Indonesia (TLID) has become the champion of MPL ID S14. Bandung witnessed the historic birth of a new MPL champion, TLID. To reach this point, TLID has gone through a long journey. Here is the story of Team Liquid ID's journey to becoming the MPL ID S14 champion.

Team Liquid ID was formerly known as AURA Fire. In MPL ID S4, AURA Fire only managed to reach the playoffs but was eliminated on the first day.

MPL ID S5
In MPL ID S5, AURA Fire did not qualify for the playoffs and finished in 7th place in the final standings of the regular season.

MPL ID S6
AURA Fire's performance continued to decline in MPL ID S6, ending in last place, #8 in the final standings of the regular season.

MPL ID S7
A different season, the same result. AURA Fire did not win any matches and finished last in the regular season standings of MPL ID S7, with 14 losses and zero wins over 8 weeks.

MPL ID S8
In MPL ID S8, AURA Fire began to rise again and qualified for the playoffs, but was eliminated on the first day.

MPL ID S9
AURA Fire started to show its strength in MPL ID S9. Not only did they qualify for the playoffs, but they also reached the lower bracket finals. However, the dream of the Fire Dragon to compete in MSC 2022 was shattered by ONIC. The tears of God1va, one of the team members, over this lower bracket loss were very heartbreaking.

MPL ID S10
AURA Fire advanced to the lower bracket finals again. However, once again, ONIC extinguished AURA's flame. Kabuki and the team had to let go of their dream to compete in the M Series, finishing in #3 as RRQ and ONIC were building their dynasty in MPL ID.

MPL ID S11
After two seasons of almost qualifying for international tournaments, AURA Fire dimmed in MPL ID S11. AURA experienced a losing streak in the regular season, winning only once and suffering 13 losses.

MPL ID S12

In MPL ID S12, AURA Fire still couldn't bounce back, frequently facing defeats. The arrival of rookie Aran briefly raised hopes, but they still failed to qualify for the playoffs.

MPL ID S13

Leading up to MPL ID S13, AURA Fire brought in roamer Yawi from the Philippines, who had experience as a world champion at the M4 World Championship with ECHO PH. Yawi's presence made a difference for the Fire Dragons. AURA Fire eventually qualified for the playoffs, but in the playoff stage, they joined Team Liquid to become Liquid AURA. Unfortunately, Yawi and the team could not progress further and were eliminated on the first day of the playoffs after being defeated by EVOS Glory.

MPL ID S14

MPL ID S14 became the moment of resurgence for Team Liquid Indonesia. The addition of rookies like Faviann, Widy, and Aeronshikii solved Team Liquid ID's problems. In the regular season, TLID secured the upper bracket, although the regular season championship title was taken by RRQ Hoshi. In the playoffs, TLID performed convincingly. Despite losing in the upper bracket finals to RRQ Hoshi, TLID did not despair. The dark horse managed to bounce back after eliminating Bigetron Alpha in the lower bracket finals. Facing RRQ Hoshi again in the Grand Finals, TLID showed their superiority with a narrow victory of 4-3.
