The conclusion of the MPL Indonesia Season 16 (MPL ID S16) Regular Season was a dramatic moment. The match between RRQ Hoshi and Natus Vincere marked the epic conclusion to the MPL ID S16 Regular Season. One team advanced to the playoffs, while the other was eliminated, becoming the final team to fail to advance to the playoffs this season.

The loss against Team Liquid ID further increased RRQ's chances of missing the MPL ID S16 playoffs. Their fate depended on the outcome of their match against Natus Vincere. If they conceded even one game, Natus Vincere would be guaranteed a playoff berth, while RRQ would miss out. This was undoubtedly a nightmare for Kingdom, as new history was about to be written in MPL Indonesia.

RRQ Farewell to MPL ID Season 16 Playoff Failure, Accompanied by Tears from the Kingdoms and a Final Message from Management

The match between RRQ Hoshi and Natus Vincere took place on Sunday, October 19, 2025. This match marked the final match of the MPL ID Season 16 Regular Season and determined the final team to advance to the playoffs. As previously mentioned, Natus Vincere only needed a single game win to secure their playoff spot. Meanwhile, RRQ Hoshi needed a comprehensive victory to advance to the playoffs.

RRQ Hoshi won Game 1. Excellent teamwork from the players allowed the Kings to dominate in Game 1. Although Natus Vincere did take the lead, RRQ was able to turn the tables. However, in Game 2, Natus Vincere, who had a commanding lead from the start, capitalized on RRQ Hoshi's late-game mistakes, turning the tide in Natus Vincere's favor.

In the end, Natus Vincere won Game 2, meaning RRQ's failure to qualify for the MPL ID Season 16 playoffs was a reality, securing the final spot. RRQ Hoshi won the match 2-1, but the result didn't change the outcome. This defeat was met with emotional reactions from the Kingdom fans attending the RRQ Arena.

Representing RRQ Hoshi's management, Xoxo, the team's manager, delivered a farewell message from RRQ and said goodbye to MPL ID Season 16. "Today, our journey ends here. We didn't make it to the playoffs. This is clearly a very heavy blow for us, and we want to apologize and thank RRQ Kingdom for always being there for us through our victories and defeats," Xoxo said.

"We will certainly evaluate, learn from, and recover from this setback. Thank you," Xoxo concluded. Thus ended RRQ's failed MPL ID Season 16 playoffs, and Sutsujin and his teammates paid their final respects as they walked out of the MPL Arena.
