After a long wait from JRPG fans, Persona 5 The Phantom X finally has an official release window for Japan. The spin-off of the Persona 5 series, developed by Black Wings Game Studio, is set to launch on PC, Android, and iOS platforms in summer 2025.

Originally launched on April 12, 2024, Persona 5 The Phantom X made its debut in a limited number of regions: China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and South Korea. The game caught attention for successfully bringing Persona’s signature elements—anime-style visuals, turn-based combat, and alternate dimension exploration—to mobile platforms, all while maintaining a strong narrative experience.

Now, according to Sega Sammy's end-of-year financial report, Persona 5 The Phantom X is officially set to release in Japan sometime between June and September 2025. While a specific release date hasn’t been disclosed, the confirmed release window reinforces earlier rumors that the game would eventually expand beyond its initial regions.
