The power map of MPL ID Season 15 has become increasingly intriguing. After the conclusion of Week 4, it has become more evident that the strength among the teams hasn’t differed too greatly.

League leader RRQ Hoshi has finally suffered its first defeat, while the teams from second to eighth place have only been separated by one win and one loss.

This means that the standings have had the potential to shift drastically as the season progresses. No team has been seen as truly dominant—perhaps only NaVi has consistently bombarded their opponents.

EVOS and Alter Ego, who have previously been considered top contenders for RRQ, have both suffered full defeats in Week 4. Meanwhile, the often-inconsistent BTR and Geek Fam have surprisingly secured two wins each last week.

As a result, the competition has grown increasingly unpredictable, and Week 5 has been set up to reveal which team has remained the most consistent and adaptable—especially with a new patch having dropped midweek.

REKT, one of Alter Ego’s coaching staff, has shared a similar view. According to him, all the teams have been strong, but at the same time, they have all been beatable.

This has been proven by Alter Ego’s current 4–3 record, after having once been seen as a dominant force at 4–1. Two straight losses against RRQ Hoshi and Geek Fam have forced AE to reassess and improve.

REKT believed that only RRQ has gone through a dominating phase. But even the King of Kings has recently faced defeat at the hands of BTR.

“In my opinion, all the teams in MPL are 50–50. Seriously, 50–50. No one is guaranteed a win. Just look at how BTR beat RRQ 2–0 the other day. Only RRQ has been truly dominant at some point,” said REKT during a livestream.

This situation has made MPL ID Season 15 all the more exciting. Especially with rumors suggesting that many Gold Lane META heroes have been nerfed, and Tank Junglers might soon resurface in the meta.
