Saved by the Gundam, Setsuna devotes herself to Celestial Being and the idea of becoming a Gundam in order to stop the war. In the end, Setsuna will become a True Innovator, and prove himself to have piloting skills beyond anything any other pilot in Gundam 00.

Amuro Ray

Amuro Ray couldn't be removed from this list because of his immense talent! This teenager didn't even know how to pilot a mobile suit at first. But his natural NewType abilities can help him fight Char Aznable, one of the most talented pilots of the One Year War era.

As Amuro became more experienced against different models and types of pilots, he was recognized as one of the best. He eventually proved to be one of the most capable pilots in the war.
