Season of Legends continues in April. This time, Trainers now have the chance to go toe-to-toe with the newly released Legendary Pokemon, Tornadus Therian Forme, in Pokemon GO! The Cyclone Therian Tornadus is a Legendary Flying-type Pokemon that appears like a giant bird. In this form, Tornadus looks significantly different from the Incarnate Forme.

Therian Tornadus is replacing Therian Thundurus as the new Tier 5 Raid Boss. With a CP of 44,256 as the Raid Boss, it also has the Fast Move Gust (Flying-type) and Astonish (Ghost-type).

While its Ult/Charge Moves are Hurricane (Flying-type), Heat Wave (Fire-type), Psychic, and Focus Blast (Fighting-type). The types of attacks that will grant you the Super Effective boost against this Pokemon are Electric, Rock, and Ice. Be careful of its Focus Blast (Fighting-type) as it will be Super Effective against Rock & Ice-type Pokemon.

Some of the best counters for you to use against Therian Tornadus are Rampardos & Rhyperior (Rock); Therian Thundurus, Zekrom, Electivire, & Raikou (Electric); or Galarian Darmanitan & Mamoswine (Ice).

To anticipate Therian Tornadus’ Focus Blast, you can use Mewtwo with its Moveset, Ice Beam. Although you can beat it in a team of 2 Trainers with good lineups of Pokemon, make sure to fight it in a group of 4-5 Trainers to give you a better chance against this Legendary Pokemon.
