The Pokemon TCG has collaborated with various franchises, resulting in exclusive cards that are now likely quite valuable among collectors. Most recently, the Pokemon TCG will soon be collaborating with McDonald's (McD) in Japan. This collaboration will take place in early August 2025.
While buyers can only get a Pikachu or Charmander toy, there are five different cards available at random. Buyers can get Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Ralts, or Riolu. All buyers will also receive a Pikachu card. These cards feature the McDonald's logo in the bottom right corner of the image.
Furthermore, these cards are existing cards from the TCG. However, Pikachu is an exclusive card featuring him enthusiastically enjoying a combo burger. The effect is the same as the Pikachu card already in the TCG. To prevent hoarding of these exclusives, it appears that McDonald's will be limiting the number of purchases per person.
Please note that this collaboration is only valid in Japan. It's not yet known whether this latest Pokemon McD collaboration will also be available in Indonesia. For those of you who might be in Japan this August, don't forget to get this exclusive card. Stay tuned for more discussions about Pokemon and TCG on Dunia Games!
