One of the rumors claimed that the cast includes an Indonesian actor and got an important role, namely Iko Uwais as a Hard Master. Of course the fans of G.I. The character that will be played by Iko Uwais is the teacher of Snake Eyes named Hard Master. In G.I. Joe: Retaliation, it was revealed that Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow were betrayed by disguised Zartan who killed Hard Master. The story portion of Hard Master itself is still very small in the two G.I. Joe films. 

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins will explore more about the leader of the Arashikage clan who is also the teacher of Storm Shadow as well as several other important characters.
