The transfer window for MPL Indonesia Season 17 had always been one of the most exciting periods for Mobile Legends fans. Rumors, leaks, and wild predictions had begun circulating across communities, analysts, and esports media. Beyond entertainment, this period also sparked interesting discussions about how roster changes might shift the competitive landscape among top MPL ID teams. It made perfect sense—one player transfer had often been enough to completely reshape a team’s meta and overall performance.
As the competition in MPL Indonesia had grown increasingly fierce, many believed that the MPL ID S17 transfer market would become one of the most intense in recent seasons. Several teams were seen as needing roster adjustments, while some players were rumored to be seeking new challenges. Major moves were highly possible, especially after many teams delivered inconsistent performances last season.
Dunia Games, being an esports media outlet that actively followed the Indonesian MLBB scene, refused to be left behind. They created their own version of MPL Transfer Predictions, analyzing potential player movements based on rumors, roster logic, and of course, fun guesswork that made the transfer window so entertaining. While none of these predictions were guaranteed to come true, they remained fun to explore.
For this special edition, Redzi interviewed five members of Dunia Games to share their personal predictions. Some sounded possible, some sounded ridiculous—but all of them were undeniably entertaining. That was the true charm of the MPL transfer season: anything could happen, and every possibility felt open.
MPL ID S17 Transfer Predictions from the Dunia Games Crew
Members of Dunia Games shared their insights and predictions regarding potential roster movements for MPL Indonesia Season 17. Most were pure speculation, but all were enjoyable to follow. Here are their complete predictions.
1. Syahdan: “Lemon to EVOS.”
Syahdan went straight to the point. When asked who he believed might move during the MPL ID S17 transfer window, he answered firmly: Lemon to EVOS. Short, bold, and undeniably shocking.
According to Syahdan, Lemon was such a legendary figure that another team might “revive” him if a suitable role or system appeared. EVOS, currently undergoing a major rebuild, was one of the teams he believed capable of pulling off such a surprise. Even though the chances were extremely small, the idea still sparked lively debate.
It instantly became one of the wildest ideas in their MPL Transfer Predictions, but that was exactly why it was worth discussing. In MLBB, surprises had always been part of the game—and as Syahdan put it: “If you’re going to dream, dream big.”
2. Irhandi: Aboy, Geek Fam’s Mid Laner, to EVOS
Irhandi offered a more grounded prediction: Aboy from Geek Fam would join EVOS. He believed EVOS needed a stronger midlane presence, particularly with the evolving meta that demanded flexibility and proactive playmaking.
Aboy had been known as one of the most promising young midlaners in MPL Indonesia, with a wide hero pool and strong macro instincts. Joining a big team like EVOS could become a major leap in his career.
While still a speculation, Irhandi’s prediction was one of the most logical in this edition of MPL Transfer Predictions, considering EVOS’ needs and Aboy’s potential.
3. Pavel: “Aboy to EVOS or RRQ.”
Pavel widened the scope of the Aboy discussion. In his view, Aboy might land in either EVOS or RRQ, two of Indonesia’s biggest organizations. Both teams were in the process of strengthening their midlane structures.
Pavel argued that Aboy’s adaptable playstyle would suit RRQ’s structured macro just as well as EVOS’ fast-paced aggression. Therefore, he believed both destinations were equally possible.
His prediction felt balanced, logical, and aligned with the current roster-building needs of Indonesia’s top teams—making it a standout entry in this round of MPL Transfer Predictions.
4. Febi: “Sanz to BTR.”
Febi delivered the most innocent and least realistic prediction: Sanz would move to Bigetron (BTR). This immediately triggered laughter across the team, as the move seemed nearly impossible.
Sanz had been a cornerstone of ONIC Esports and one of the strongest midlaners in the region. The likelihood of such a transfer occurring was extremely slim. Still, Febi mentioned it with confidence, insisting that “anything can happen during the transfer window.”
As far as entertainment value went, Febi’s outlandish prediction added a delightful twist to the lineup of MPL Transfer Predictions.
5. Haris: “Vyn returns to BTR.”
Haris matched Febi’s energy by sharing another outrageous prediction: Vyn—currently the coach of EVOS—would return to Bigetron (BTR). A bold claim, but one with nearly zero realistic probability.
Haris explained that the transfer window was full of surprises, even when many predictions didn’t make sense. Since Vyn had a long history with BTR, Haris jokingly turned that nostalgia into a “homecoming” prediction.
Although highly unlikely, Haris’ prediction added more fun to the group’s collection of MPL Transfer Predictions, reinforcing the idea that the transfer window was the perfect place for imagination.
With all these predictions from the Dunia Games team, it became clear that the MPL ID S17 transfer window was shaping up to be full of exciting speculation—some realistic, some completely absurd. But that blend was exactly what made MPL Transfer Predictions such a fan-favorite activity each season.
Whatever ends up happening, one thing is certain—the drama and surprises of the MPL ID S17 transfer window will not disappoint.
