Team 7 Konoha genins successfully done their assigned mission. Kokuri safely saved, and Tsukiyo successfully defeated. Even so, the episode that aired last week ended with an unsettling plot twist. After successfully eradicate the traitor, Shojoji’s next move is to wreak havoc in Konoha -- as seen in the Episode 148 preview. 

Boruto Episode 148 shows Team 7 Konoha dealing with criminals. In the manga, the criminals are connected with Mujina bandits. Yes, it looks like they’re back dealing with the bandits led by Shojoji.

Besides, Konoha also visited by a famous person, Ikkyu Madoka, the daimyo (ruler) of Fire Nation, where Konoha located. He also brings his son, Tentou Madoka. Boruto later tasked to take care of this kid.
