Light's Profile and Bio - Trivia

1. Early Career as a Pro Player

As previously mentioned, Light is a veteran in the Philippine MLBB competitive scene. Light began his pro career when he joined TNC Pro Team in 2021. However, his career there was short-lived, and Light joined the Z4 Esports team, owned by renowned player Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso. However, he didn't stay there long, eventually pursuing a career with the renowned team, RSG Philippines (RSG PH).

2. Journey with RSG Philippines

Light's career as a pro player began here. Joining RSG Philippines for MPL PH Season 9 brought Light considerable success. In his first season, he successfully led RSG PH to the MPL PH Season 9 championship after defeating Omega Esports. This victory also propelled Light and RSG PH to their first international tournament, the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2022 in Malaysia.

Light's journey with RSG PH at MSC 2022 was also a resounding success. With RSG PH, he defeated new teams from other regions, including Orange Esports, Omega Esports, and RRQ Hoshi. In the Grand Final, RSG PH defeated RRQ Hoshi with a convincing 4-0 score, securing not only the team's first international title, but also Light's own journey as a pro player. His journey with RSG PH continued into the future.

3. MSC 2022 Champion, Ups and Downs in MPL PH 2022-2023

Light's journey with RSG PH after becoming the MSC 2022 champion was quite bumpy. For the last three seasons, in MPL PH Seasons 10-13, Light and RSG PH failed to reach the Grand Finals. They only finished in 3rd or 4th place. In MPL PH Season 10, they lost to ECHO. They also lost to ECHO in MPL PH Season 11, and even ended up losing to ECHO in MPL PH Season 12. Finally, in MPL PH Season 13, they lost to Falcons AP BREN.

Naturally, these results weren't easy for Light and RSG PH every season. He also experienced the ups and downs of building his career after becoming the MSC 2022 champion. Finally, MPL PH Season 14 marked the end of Light's journey with RSG PH, as they returned home early in the MPL PH playoffs. This failure marked the end of Light's career in MPL PH, leading to his move to other regions.

4. Joining Bigetron Esports in MPL ID, Earning the Nickname "Bro Cahyo"

Leaving the competitive MPL PH scene, Light then joined Bigetron Esports in early 2025. Here, he reunited with his former teammate from RSG PH, Emmanuel "Emman" Sangco. Light replaced Hengky "Kyy," who had decided to move to EVOS after five years with Bigetron in MPL Indonesia. Here, Light joined the team with a new coach, Patrick "E2MAX" Caidic, who previously coached TNC Pro Team.

Light's journey with Bigetron was quite interesting. During his career in MPL Indonesia, Light became well-liked by many fans, who gave him the nickname "Bro Cahyo" because his name, Light, means "light" in Indonesian. Light was then affectionately called "Bro Cahyo" by fans. With Bigetron, Light advanced to the playoffs. However, their journey was short-lived, as they dropped to the Lower Bracket and ultimately fell to Alter Ego. Afterward, Light decided to leave the team and return to the Philippines.

5. Returning to His Golden Age, Joining AURORA and Winning the M7 World Championship

After moving to Indonesia for a season, Light returned to the Philippines to pursue his career. He joined AURORA PH, replacing Renejay “Renejay” Barcase. Here, he reunited with his former teammate, Jon “Demonkite” Carranto. Joining AURORA was Light's first opportunity to play under the guidance of coaches Master The Basics and Dex Star, who had previously coached Blacklist International. Just like at Bigetron, Light's career at AURORA was relatively smooth.

This included his journey in the Regular Season, where AURORA was nearly unstoppable. His journey, after making it to the playoffs, became even smoother. Although he and AURORA managed to stop Team Liquid PH in the upper bracket finals, AURORA PH unfortunately suffered a crushing 4-0 defeat in the Grand Finals. Despite this, he managed to advance to the M7 World Championship, marking Light's first MLBB World Championship, or M-Series, competition.

Their journey at the M7 World Championship was also rocky. In the Swiss Stage, they suffered a defeat against Team Liquid PH. However, AURORA PH's progress went smoothly, eliminating all remaining opponents. As a result, Light and his teammates advanced to the Knockout round with a 3-1 score. Another major test awaited them, as AURORA faced Team Liquid PH again in the Knockout round. However, Light and his teammates turned the tide this time and sent TLPH to the Lower Bracket.

AURORA PH's progress in the upper bracket was unstoppable. They defeated Indonesian team Alter Ego and Malaysian giants Selangor Red Giants to secure their first place in the M7 World Championship Grand Final. In the Grand Final, AURORA faced Alter Ego again and secured a 4-0 victory, securing their M7 World Championship title. To complete the victory, Light was selected as MVP and shared a touching message about his and his teammates' struggles.
