1. Captain of JKT48 New Era

Shani JKT48 has been elected as Captain of JKT48 New Era since December 18, 2021. Shani is one of the members who has survived after JKT48 was restructured. When invited to be a guest star on the Tonight Show Premiere, Shani explained her duties as captain of JKT48.

"(My) job is to listen to the (members), to become a place (to confide)," explained Shani JKT48 when asked by Vincent, Desta, and Enzy on the Tonight Show Premiere.

2. Shani’s Jikoshoukai 

Every JKT48 member has a Jikoshoukai or greeting. Well, Jikoshoukai Shani is "Sweet as chocolate, as soft as silk. Hello, I'm Shani." This greeting is always said by Shani before appearing in the theater.

From there, Shani built her branding as a sweet and gentle idol. No wonder Shani has many fans because of her character.

3. A Idol for Almost a Decade

According to the caption on her personal Instagram post, Shani JKT48 has been an idol for almost a decade, 9.5 years to be exact. "It's been a long and difficult journey. But grateful to be part of this group," Shani wrote.

It turns out that Shani JKT48 has played Mobile Legends with Desy JKT48. At that time, Shani was taught by Desy. Shani had asked about how to shoot in MLBB. Desy instead replied, "How to confess, just tell me if you like (me)."
