The name “EVOS Divine” is familiar to Free Fire esports fans in Indonesia and the world. Said to be the strongest Free Fire team in Indonesia currently, EVOS Divine often provides slick performances that lead to increasing achievements.

Recently, EVOS Divine has skyrocketed again thanks to their victory at the Free Fire Indonesia Masters (FFIM) for the third time in a row, as well as proof that EVOS Divine is still unbeaten in Indonesia.

1. Initially, They're Just Having Fun

EVOS Divine is known as the most successful Free Fire team in Indonesia today, but its journey began with 4 young people: Mr05, SAM13, Manay, and Cupay. Who would have thought, the four of them started to jump into the competitive arena of Free Fire just for fun.

MR05 had mentioned that he used to play a lot of online games before finally trying the Free Fire because he was invited by SAM13. Feeling attached, both of them consistently pursued Free Fire, until finally creating a team called “Black Hawk” with Manay and Cupay to take part in a small tournament in the Bogor area.

2. Began with Black Hawk, Now Known as EVOS Divine

Often a winner in small tournaments, Black Hawk is increasingly consistent in participating in offline tournaments regardless of the nominal prize.

For them, the most important thing is having fun while looking for experience, until one day that consistency brought them to become champions in the first major Free Fire tournament in Indonesia, FFIM Season I.

MR05 and the squad, who at that time joined Capital Esports, were immediately seen as a team full of potential, were recruited by the giant Indonesian esports organization EVOS Esports, and continued their journey as EVOS Capital.

In mid-2019, EVOS Capital changed its name to EVOS Roar, then changed its name again to EVOS Esports ID at the end of 2019. Now, the team is better known as EVOS Divine.

3. The Winner of Free Fire World Champion 2019

Winning FFIM Season I brought EVOS to a bigger stage, namely the Free Fire World Cup (FFWC) 2019 which was held in Thailand.

Even though this was their first experience on the international stage, EVOS Capital admitted that they did not feel nervous, but were very enthusiastic and even succeeded in bringing home the FFWC 2019  trophy back to the homeland.

4. Now Has 5 Active Players

Every journey surely has a beginning and an end. Starting the reign with 4 people, Cupay and Manay decided to take a new career. Manay hung his mouse and switched careers to become an EVOS coach, while Cupay left the EVOS squad to defend the BOSS Esports.

To replace the 2 vacant positions, EVOS brought in Abu and Street at the end of 2019. One more player, Kenzoo, also joined in July 2020 to strengthen the EVOS squad.

Although filled with many young talents, the team consisting of Jujun, Rasyah, Lizard, Zaaack7, and ELtRUST has proven its ability on the Division 2 stage of FFML Season IV and FFIM 2021 Fall.

Even though EVOS Immortal's steps have to stop at Play-ins FFIM 2021 Fall, they are believed to be able to continue to grow by learning a lot from their seniors at EVOS Divine.

9. Has Rivals at Neighboring Countries

Being the strongest in Indonesia alone won't satisfy EVOS Divine. They have ambitions to beat the strongest teams in other countries, one of which is their own 'brother', EVOS Thailand or previously called EV Thailand, and Phoenix Force, which is now better known as EVOS Phoenix.

Both of them are often faced on the international stage such as FFCS 2020 Asia and FFWS 2021 Singapore. As a result, EVOS Divine won 1 place above EVOS Phoenix in the FFCS 2020 Asia match, while EVOS Phoenix won FFWS 2021 when EVOS Divine finished in 8th place.

They will meet again on the FFAC 2021 Asia stage at the end of next year to prove who is stronger among the EVOS.
