Maro’s Advantages and Disadvantages
Maro's Advantages
- Suitable for snipers and campers;
- There’s no limitation for using his skill;
Maro has a passive skill named 'Falcon Fervor' which is very suitable for snipers and campers who like to use long-range weapons, especially sniper rifles (SR). The further away you are when shooting, the more damage you will deal on the target.
Maro's skill is included as a passive skill that has no cooldown or duration, making the skill effect can be used throughout the game.
Maro’s Disadvantages
- Unsuitable for close-combat.
Because Maro's damage depends on the distance between you and the enemies, obviously this skill is not suitable for close-combat, especially when the end zone requires each player to fight in a small area, Maro's skills will go to waste.

Maro is the 37th character in Free Fire who will be available in May 2021. This character will be released for the first time as a Top Up 140 Diamonds bonus which is valid from 15-21 May 2021.
Later, you can also buy the Maro at the shop with an estimated price of 499 Diamonds and the bundle version for 2500 Diamond.
Tips on Using Maro
After knowing about Maro's skills, strengths, and weaknesses, then you should also know how to play as him.
1. Use Sniper Rifles (SR)
Players who play as Maro will get an increase in damage following your shooting distance with your enemies. The weapon type that comes with the farthest range is sniper rifles, and this category is very suitable for Maro.
Use AWM, Kar98k, or M82B to finish off your enemies from afar in seconds. If you don't have an SR, you can still use medium-range weapons such as Assault Rifle (AR), Light Machine Gun (LMG), or Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR).
2. Play Safely
Avoid playing too aggressively as Maro. The most suitable strategy is to camp in a safe position and be patient for the enemies to come. Avoid close combat as much as possible because it will weaken Maro's skill effect.
3. Maro’s Skill Combination
As a sniper, Maro players are required to play passively and rely on strategy. Combine Maro with the Wukong that can help you camouflage it so it's easy to trick the enemy.
When it comes to snipers, Laura is the number one character to be paired with Maro. You will get an additional accuracy of up to 30% if you use a scope.
Besides Laura, there is also Rafael who is suitable to be paired with Maro. His 'Dead Silent' provides a permanent silencing effect on SR and DMR weapons, so you don't have to worry about being exposed.
You can also pair Maro with characters who can mark enemies such as Moco, Shirou, or Clu to get additional damage of up to 3.5%.
So those are Maro's profile, skill, and play tips. Are you ready for Booyah using Maro?
