Had A Career As A League of Legends Pro Player

Ericko Lim began his career as a League of Legends pro player. He played for Kamikaze under the nickname Insex. He was a Jungler and known for his unusual picks or troll picks.

Playing in the League of Legends Garuda Series Season 6, he finished sixth with his team. After ending his career as a pro player, Ericko Lim switched paths and became a caster alongside his colleague, Abi 'Xiamphu'.

Made His Name As An Entertaining Caster with Xiamphu

After he quit being a pro player, he joined Garena as a caster. Since he’s quite talkative to begin with, Ericko Lim self-taught himself to become a caster, with Xiamphu as the co-caster.

Quite surprisingly, the duo was able to make the League of Legends pro scene in Indonesia so entertaining. Especially with them joking around between the matches -- adding a new color to the broadcast.

While he worked as a caster, Ericko Lim was also developing his YouTube channel and posted his videos regularly. Once his YouTube channel gained a lot of viewers, he decided to leave Garena and started his career as a YouTuber.

Becoming a YouTuber

Ericko Lim established his own production team, which consists of his closest friends. For his content, Ericko Lim doesn’t seem to focus much on gameplays -- most of the videos he uploads are daily vlogs and several spoof tutorials.

Even that he’s a full-time YouTuber, Ericko still makes appearances at esports events, one of them was the MPL, which still took place at Mall Taman Anggrek.

The Controversies

Being a YouTuber doesn’t mean that his content makes him famous. In fact, he gained popularity for his controversies. One of which was his drama involving Reza Arap Oktovian.

Ericko even made a song to make fun of Arap titled Mr. RO. Although it ended peacefully, the incident is still clear in the fans’ memories.

Got Arrested for Possession of Illegal Substances

Ericko Lim once got arrested for having illegal substances that led to him spending time in prison. While this case was hidden from the media, the disappearance of Ericko Lim from social media and YouTube made many netizens suspicious.

He was sentenced to one year in prison in July 2019 and released in 2020. After being released, Ericko Lim made a clarification video, expressing his apology to his subscribers.

The Ericko Lim-Listy Chan-Jessica Jane Drama

Shortly after being released, Ericko Lim got tangled in another drama involving his then-girlfriend Jessica Jane and Listy Chan, who was still a member of EVOS Esports. Ericko Lim was suspected of dating Listry Chan when he’s still with Jessica Jane. Again, he became the talking point on the internet because of this.

Not just hurting Jessica’s feelings, the whole thing also ended Listy Chan's career as an EVOS Esports pro player. Shortly thereafter, Ericko made another video issuing his apology and stated that he has made peace with Jessica Jane.

Returns to the Pro Scene After Reviving His Old Team

After a long hiatus from the pro scene, Ericko Lim decided to make a return by reviving his old team, Kamikaze. The team consists of League of Legends PC veterans and one female player who is none other than Listy Chan.

With his team, Ericko Lim is said to take part in Wild Rift tournaments soon.
