The latest game from Krafton PUBG: New State is indeed currently becoming a hot topic among gamers. Set to release this year, PUBG: New State is believed to present the most advanced Battle Royale experience in the world of mobile gaming.

Both are PUBG games that are available for smartphones, gamers are also wondering what makes PUBG: New State different from UBG Mobile. Find out in the article below for the 5 differences.

New Features

PUBG: New State is set far away after PUBG Mobile, namely in 2051. It was shown in the first trailer, players can try advanced features that are not available yet in PUBG Mobile, such as ballistic shields, drones, and UAVs on Payload 2.0.

Also, PUBG: New State will also introduce a custom weapon feature that allows players to design their weapons.

"A new in-game weapon customization feature, players can make various weapons their own by obtaining customization kits. These kits will transform weapons in different ways, such as performance enhancements, fire mode selection, and grenade launcher attachments," said Krafton.

Different Battle Map

PUBG game has several types of maps with different sizes and terrains. Several maps are present in more than one game, for example, the Erangel map, in which the map presents in both PUBG (PC) and PUBG Mobile.

But there are also PUBG games that have their maps, they are Varenga and Golden Woods which only exist in the PUBG Mobile Lite. Similar to the PUBG Mobile Lite, PUBG: New State is scheduled to have its battlefield.

PUBG: New State will present a modern map “TROI” that hasn't been present in previous PUBG games. This 8x8 km map is equivalent to the size of the Erangel and Miramar and can gather up to 100 players at the same time.

Realistic Graphics

PUBG Mobile is famous for presenting realistic graphics that are very similar to real life. Well, PUBG: New State promises even greater quality!

Reporting from Google Play, PUBG: New State offers “Ultra-realistic Graphics” that surpass the mobile gaming standard by relying on Global Illumination technology. Maybe the graphics quality is equivalent to console games or PC games?

Higher Spec Requirements

Promising many advanced features that the predecessor had to offer, PUBG: New State will require more specs.

You need a device with a minimum specification of 2.5 GB RAM and OS Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) to run this game, and higher specifications to be able to run the game more smoothly.

On the other hand, PUBG Mobile has lighter specs, with at least 2 GB RAM and Android 5.1.1. So, for those of you who play PUBG Mobile and still lagging, then don’t even try to play PUBG: New State!

File Size

Aside from the specifications, another thing that you should consider from an app is its size. You have to prepare more storage to store large games.

For the record, currently PUBG Mobile (version 1.2.0) requires approximately 3.42 GB of storage and this is quite large for a potato cellphone with small storage.

Krafton still hasn't officially revealed the file size of PUBG: New State, but it is predicted that this game will not require too much storage during the first release, but it will continue to increase as new patches are added to the game.

So for those of you who plan to play these two games, prepare at least a massive empty storage.
