1. The Cat O' Nine Tails
Dario Argento includes a number of terrifying and torturous elements. No wonder The Cat O 'Nine Tails is one of the scariest movies. Despite the excellent quality, the fact is that Argento dislikes this movie.

The Bird With The Crystal Plumage is Argento's debut film which was released in 1970. This film was so extraordinary that it lifted Argento's career up, and got recognition as the genius of horror films director. It is also mentioned that the film is the first sign of worldwide expansion of the horror sub-genre called giallo.
This film focuses on a person's efforts to escape from the various murders that lurk him. The innocent protagonist must escape at all costs. This is a must-watch movie.
3. Opera
Opera is one of the most intense horror movies. Even the intensity can really compete with today modern horror movies. The characters in this film are seriously tortured in a sadistic way like placing needles in their eyelids while being tortured in the dark.
Opera tells us the story of William Shakespeare's MacBeth. With the giallo element that is his trademark supported by a unique story, this film is really interesting to watch.
4. Suspiria
The first film in The Three Mothers trilogy, Suspiria is one of Argento's phenomenal works and is well-loved. This supernatural horror film features a dance studio that is the facade of Mater Suspiriorum (Lady Of Sighs) to fulfill her terrible wish.
When Suzy Bannion (Jessica Harper) begins to notice the many murders surrounding the dance studio, she finds a way to escape before they can kill her too. With extraordinary dramatization coupled with elements of various murders, this film will make anyone goosebump.
Having a strange and beautiful depiction of horror, this film is really worth enjoying on its cinematography side.
