Here's the esports recap for the week of 22-28 April 2024, where an athlete with the initials HJ was arrested to RRQ Valorant and failed to make it to the VCT Pacific Stage 1 Playoffs.

1. EVOS Divine Added a New Player, Bara
Tak hanya itu, pihaknya juga mengatakan bahwa Street bakal mengisi posisi sebagai Kapten EVOS Divine secara penuh.
Through the Instagram account @ff.esports.id on Tuesday (23/4), it was discovered that EVOS Divine was one of the teams carrying out the transfer window. He also brought in Bara to fill his line-up roster in the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) SEA 2024 Spring.
Not only that, his party also said that Street would fill the position of Captain of EVOS Divine full-time.
2. An Esports Player with the Initials HJ was Arrested and Here's AURA's Clarifications
Recently, there was surprising news saying that an esports athlete with the initials HJ had been arrested for being involved in a drug case. He was arrested together with Chandrika Chika, a celebrity, and four other young people at a hotel in the Kuningan area, Setiabudi.
Many suspect that the athlete with the initials HJ is an AURA Esports player with the nickname Jeixyy. AURA Esports has also clarified and confirmed that the player has not been with his team since 2023.
3. VCT Pacific Stage 1 2024 Week 3 Standings
Those are the VCT Pacific Stage 1 2024 week 3 standings, starting from 20-23 April 2024. It is very clear that several teams are certain to qualify for the Playoffs.
However, there are still teams that have a chance to qualify for the Playoffs. However, this could change considering the results of the fourth week which will end today, Monday (29/4).
4. Games that Indonesian Esports Teams will Play in the 2024 IESF Riyadh
The Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PB ESI) via its Garudaku Instagram account on Wednesday (24/4) announced the list of games that the Indonesian Esports National Team will participate in at the 16th IESF World Esports Championship (WEC) 2024 Riyadh. The list of games and their numbers are as follows.
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Men
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women
- PUBG Mobile
- eFootball
The Indonesian Esports National Team will take part in four of the seven events and games that will be competed in at IESF 2024 Riyadh. The three other numbers and games that the Indonesian National Team did not participate in were Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, and Counter-Strike 2 Women.

5. PB ESI Gave Information Regarding the National Team's National Selection for the Indonesian MLBB Men for the 2024 IESF Riyadh
To represent Indonesia at the 2024 IESF Riyadh, there will be a national selection for the best athletes. Therefore, PB ESI will conduct the National Selections for the Indonesian MLBB Men's National Team with the following mechanism.
- Winners 1-4 of the 2023 National Esports League (LEN) will be invited to take part in the National Seleknas. The teams are Pajajaran Esports, Borneo FC Esports, Team Gryffin, and ONIC Miracle
- There will be invited teams and open qualifications on 3-26 May 2024. First and second place will advance to the National Seleknas
- The Group Stage will be divided into two groups, each filled with 3 teams. Using a best-of-three (Bo3) round-robin system. If there is a tiebreaker, the best-of-one (Bo1) system will be used until a winner is found
- Playoff with format, 1st place in group A vs 2nd place in group B, 1st place in group B vs 2nd place in group A, and third place in group awaits in the Lower Bracket
The Group Stage round of the National Seleknas will be held on 10-11 June 2024. Meanwhile, the Playoffs will be on 12-14 June 2024. Later, the selected teams will represent Indonesia to take part in the Regional Qualifiers Asian and Oceania Qualifiers. If you qualify, take part in the IESF Asian Esports Championship 2024, to get a ticket to IESF WEC 2024 Riyadh.
6. The Chronology of the Match Fixing Allegations in the MDL PH
Recently there were allegations regarding match fixing at MDL PH. This allegation started with an upload by Ducky, AP Bren's coach, who discussed match-fixing and uploaded a screenshot containing an alleged conversation about match-fixing. The alleged perpetrator is the owner of a Facebook account named Jigen Paul, former head coach of Teletigers Esports Club (TGR).
Based on this allegation, MDL PH also opened its voice and confirmed that they were conducting an investigation. In line with this investigation, the TGR, TNC24, and RSG PH teams also provided official statements. Some of them even gave their players a break until they were dismissed.
7. MPL ID Season 13 Week 6 Standings
That's the standings for MPL ID S13 week 6. You can see that Bigetron Alpha, ONIC, and AURA are still at home at the top of the standings.
On the other hand, the middle board is filled by RRQ Hoshi, Rebellion Esports, and Geek Fam. Meanwhile, the red zone has been filled by Alter Ego, EVOS Glory, and Dewa United Esports.
8. FFWS SEA 2024 Spring Week 4 Standings
So those are the FFWS SEA 2024 Spring week 4 standings. You can see that Buriram United Esports is still at home at the top with a total of 1001 points.
The Indonesian team itself, namely EVOS Divine, is in fifth position followed by Indostars in sixth place. Then, ONIC Olympus is in ninth position, and RRQ Kazu is in 11th place. Finally, there is Dewa United Apollo who is in 14th position.
9. RRQ Valorant Failed to Pass the 2024 VCT Pacific Stage 1 Playoffs
The King of Kings team has certainly failed to qualify for the 2024 VCT Pacific Stage 1 Playoffs. His steps to advance to the top of the standings have been thwarted by Talon Esports.
RRQ Valorant itself still has one more match against Gen.G today, Monday (29/4). However, even if they win over Gen.G, RRQ will still not be able to surpass Talon Esports' winning points, which is in third place.
