Echo Esports’ young lion squad, dominated Week 2 of the Free Fire Master League Season V Division 1 with impressive 340 points earned, toppling the 3 times FFIM winner, Evos Divine, which dropped to second place with a margin of 46 points & Onic Olympus, the  4 times FFML winner, in third with a 61 points margin. Echo Esports managed to dominate on Matchday 4 & 5 (25/2 & 26/2), thanks to the team’s well-organized plays that led them to consistently securing the top-3 in all of the 12 Rounds played throughout 2 days. This greatly helped Echo Esports in accumulating 189 points in 2 Matchdays. 

Matchday 4, which took place on Friday (25/2), was a chance for the team to play their latest additions in Week 2 of the FFML Season V Division 1, including SES Alfaink, with their 2 new additions, who previously played for SES Goboba in the FFML Season V Division 2, SESGeday23 & SESBoc1l, both of them displayed phenomenal performances by securing 20 kills in 1 Round and a Booyah in Round 2. This duo was able to improve SES Alfaink’s performance, a team that was lackluster in Week 1.  Echo Dutzz and co. also started their domination on Matchday 4. Despite failing to secure a Booyah in the opening round last week, Echo Esports was quite consistent throughout Matchday 4 by finishing within the Top 3 and securing a Booyah in Round 4. 

The clash between the Young Lions and the White Tiger, Evos Divine, on Matchday 5, Saturday (26/2) was definitely an entertaining one. As a seasoned team, Evos Divine was able to bring their A-game that night, bagging 2 Booyahs in Round 3 & 5. The deadly duo of SESGeday23 & SESBoc1l once again gave SES Alfaink a win with two Booyahs in Round 1 & 2. The absence of GPX 18Deer has led to GPX’s decline. Despite playing against big teams like Evos Divine, SES Alfaink, and First Raiders Eclipse, Echo Esports was still able to dominate and sits at the top of the standings on Matchday 5.

Matchday 6, which took place on Sunday (27/2), featured an intense race for the top spots, with the young lions at the top. Although they didn’t play on Matchday 6, the total points that Echo Esports had won on Matchday 4 & 5 were enough to keep them ahead of the other teams. Evos Divine had the biggest chance of toppling Echo Esports from the leading spot, yet the team wasn’t able to give their best on Matchday 6. The White Tiger struggled against Tangcity Esports, a team that won the Predator title with 38 kills. Onic Olympus, the 4 times FFML winner, once again proved their worth with two Booyahs in the last 2 rounds, thanks to their patience in securing objectives. 

With a significant margin, Echo Esports remains at the top of the FFML Season V Division 1 Week 2 standings, followed by Evos Divine & Onic Olympus in second and third.  6 matchdays are left for the teams to prove their worth to represent Indonesia at the Free Fire World Series 2022 Sentosa.
