Due to its popularity and the large number of fans who like this genre, many stories about zombies also appear in various anime and manga.

When the zombie outbreak occurrs, Hideo has to fight to survive and protect his friends. In this chaotic situation, for the first time he really feel how to be a main character in his life.
2. Kingdom of Z
This manga by Saizo Harawata tells the story of the characters fighting against zombies. The story begins five days after a zombie attack that suddenly appears and destroys everything, Masaru barely survives by just hiding in his school. Suddenly, he is saved by beautiful high school girls from the same school, Karin and Miki. But it turns out they have other motives. So, what actually happen? Read the mangato find out.

3. KoLD8: King Of The Living Dead
This zombie manga this time is quite unique. This manga by Pageratta first appeared in Shonen Jump+, where the author sees zombies as a source of a new kind of anti-hero. The story tells how zombies manage to occupy Japan in just a month. To avoid being infected by zombies, Eito Hasaba with his mother and younger sister, head to a 'sector' or a safe zone that is blocked from zombie attacks.
But soon after their arrival, Eito is so badly injured during a fight that they are expelled from the sector. While outside, zombies start moving towards him. When he wishes to die before being eaten by zombies, he finds a miracle where he has the ability to control the undead. With this new power, he begins to provide justice within the sectors to protect them and not abuse his newfound power.
4. Are You Alive Honda-Kun?
This zombie-themed manga carries a quite unique genre involving love stories, comedies, and a world filled with zombies. Yoshiki Tonogai is the author and creator of this work, It tells the story of a young girl named Alice who has a desire to be able to live an ordinary life in a world overrun by zombies.
This girl is sometimes too gullible, because she prioritizes romance over survival. When she gets a love confession from Honda,s he doesn't realize that the world has now been taken over by zombies. WAlice tries to live happily in a world full of zombies, Honda himself keeps many secrets. Together, they both have to survive in the zombie-infested world.
5. Fort Of Apocalypse
This manga is created by Yu Kuraishi and illustrated by Kazu Inabe and published by Kodansha Comics. Yoshiaki Maeda was sent to the Shōran Institute, a juvenile correctional facility that houses criminals from all over the Kanto region after he was accused and detained there. Things gets worse when he wais involved in a feud between the inmates by his cellmates. When a van crashed into the building and released a horde of flesh-eating zombies into the building, he finds no other choice but to find a way to make it out alive.
