EVOS was believed to have suffered its only defeat in the first three weeks against Alter Ego, allegedly because they had streamed together as a five-man squad, leading to their gameplay being exposed.

REKT Speaks Up on Pro Players Streaming Together

After being absent for a while, REKT, a legendary player and now a coach for Alter Ego, returned to streaming. He shared his thoughts on the hot topic.

When it comes to pro players streaming as a team, REKT sees no issue with it. In his view, live streaming is simply an extra source of income for pro players.

"Streaming together won’t reveal gameplay, guys. I swear, it won’t. Pro players stream mainly to earn extra money. If they’re still grinding ranks while streaming, that’s their business. If they make money from donations, ads, or gifts, that’s their luck," REKT said during his live stream.

"Why would you stop someone from making money? That’s ridiculous. I’d even argue with any management that tries to ban streaming," he added.

Nowadays, more MPL ID teams are regularly streaming together. Alter Ego, Bigetron, RRQ, and other teams have started making this a routine, especially during the current three-week MPL break for the Lebaran holiday.
