Nnael Leaves ONIC, a Surprise Before MPL ID Season 16

Shocking news has come from ONIC, officially releasing young jungler Manuel “Nnael” Simbolon. The news of Nnael leaving ONIC was announced on Thursday, August 7, 2025. This time, it was confirmed that Nnael's departure wasn't due to a loan to another team, but rather to leaving the team completely.

“Thank you, Nnael, talented young jungler. It's time to say goodbye to the Land of Dawn with ONIC, but your legacy as part of this family will never fade. Coming with great enthusiasm and a steely mentality, Nnael showed that age is no barrier to making an impact in the competitive scene,” wrote the management.

“A young jungler who doesn't hesitate to push the limits, fight, and learn with the team. Thank you for being part of this journey, Nnael. Continued success in your next steps, stay brave, and keep growing!”

For your information, Nnael began his career at the MDL level in MDL ID Season 7 under the name "Vi Mornov," and eventually changed his name to Nnael. Throughout his career, he played with ONIC from season to season. He first entered the MPL scene when he was loaned to Geek Fam for MPL Indonesia Season 12.

His performance was quite impressive, and it was with Geek Fam that Nnael made his first appearance at the MLBB M5 World Championship. With Geek Fam, Nnael finished 5th-6th before returning to ONIC. After ending his loan with Geek Fam, Nnael was loaned back to Alter Ego for MPL Indonesia Season 14. Unfortunately, despite qualifying for the playoffs, Nnael and Al Ego's journey with Alter Ego in MPL ID Season 14 was short-lived.

After two seasons on loan to other teams, Nnael finally joined ONIC in MPL Indonesia Season 15. He played as a jungler and even filled the EXP laner role for one match before being replaced by Ryota. Having won MPL ID Season 15 with ONIC, perhaps it's time for Nnael to leave ONIC and start a new chapter in his career in MPL Indonesia Season 16.
