As for his abilities, Ruud Gullit is a complete player with incredibly well-rounded Attacking and Defending stats.

Many PES players use Gullit as a CF due to his excellent Offensive Awareness and Physical Contact, which allows him to outmuscle the opposing defenders.

2. Marco van Basten

Marco van Basten can play as a CF or a SS.

B. Abilities

van Basten has impeccable off-the-ball movements, amazing balance, and he controls the ball really well.

Before taking his shots, Marco van Basten tends to hold the ball for a moment and look for the best chances.

3. Frank Rijkaard

Last but not least, we have Frank Rijkaard. The DMF is an Orchestrator, whose main task is to distribute the ball to his teammates.

Usually, an Orchestrator excels at launching killer passes, but he also tends to have excellent defensive traits to play his role as a DMF.

A. Best Positions

Frank Rijkaard plays really well as a DMF, CMF, or a CB.

B. Abilities

Rijkaard does have amazing defensive abilities, yet he’s not the fastest player on the pitch given his low Acceleration makes him less effective in chasing down opponents when the team is being countered.

So, if you want to play Rijkaard, try not to let him too far up the pitch so that he’ll be able to stop counterattacks instead of having to chase down opponents. That is unless you have another DMF to pair him with. For example, you can use a DMF duo with Rijkaard and Patrick Vieira.
