Tom Cruise, the main actor, will return to play Ethan Hunt for the seventh time. Get ready, because this franchise will officially end in 2024.
The Dunia Games team will review Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 which is one of the movies with a long franchise. Let's see in more detail.
Synopsis
In Mission Impossible 7 or Dead Reckoning Part 1, this time, Ethan Hunt has to deal with AI, aka artificial intelligence, which is a super-sophisticated and dangerous entity. This entity is able to penetrate intelligence servers around the world.
The story begins with a meeting between Ethan and his former boss, Kittridge (played by Henry Czerny), who has now been promoted to become the director of the CIA. Kittridge warns Ethan: the mission he is about to undertake is extremely dangerous and could make Ethan 'everyone's enemy'. But, what power, in order to save the world, Ethan is still determined to take this mission.
In this mission, Hunt has to find two key parts carried by two different parties. His IMF team, consisting of Benji (played by Simon Pegg), Luther (played by Ving Rhames), and Isla Faust (played by Rebecca Ferguson), must find these two key parts and figure out how to use them to eradicate this Entity.
The action continues at the Dubai airport. Ethan and his team meet a beautiful thief named Grace (played by Hayley Atwell), who turns out to have the same task: to steal the key. Aside from Grace, Ethan also meets another figure from his past, Gabriel (played by Esai Morales), who is a tough opponent and the person who shaped Ethan to become who he is today.
Presents Quite a Lot of Comedy Elements
Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie once again prove their mettle to test the limits in several high-tension scenes. Supported by the typical theme of this franchise, they managed to bring the audience to the peak of enthusiasm. Plus, the plot ups the ante for Ethan and his team, including Benji (played by Simon Pegg), Luther (played by Ving Rhames), and Ilsa (played by Rebecca Ferguson).
Hayley Atwell impresses as Grace and is a charming addition to the character, perfectly paired with Cruise's Ethan, both in the dramatic and comedic aspects. In fact, it's probably the most humorous MI movie so far in the franchise.

Stunning Cinematic Returns with Senseless Action
Full of adrenaline-pumping action, dazzling panoramas, and extreme stunts exhibited by Tom Cruise himself, this movie is never boring even though its duration is the longest in the Mission Impossible series, which is 2 hours 43 minutes. One scene that was quite extreme was when Tom Cruise made a base jump to the train after sliding from the top of the cliff using a motorbike, making this scene one of the most risky in the Hollywood movie industry.
However, that is just one of the many scenes that are truly exhilarating to witness. Tom Cruise together with director Christopher McQuarrie managed to take the level of action in this movie to a higher level, crossing the boundaries of previous ones. The adrenaline-filled and amazing fight scene on a train followed by a massive crash is an important moment in this movie, reminiscent of the first movie which also showed a similar duel on a train.
This coupled with the return of the IMF team, including Luther, Benji, and Ilsa Faust, shows that this team has a strong connection to Hunt. Hayley Atwell as a new addition also provides a fresh touch, where the interaction between Atwell and Cruise provides a unique atmosphere and shines with its intensity.
