This time, Dunia Games have the chance to play first the latest Persona game by Atlus. We play Persona 5 Strikers the Digital Deluxe Edition on Playstation 4 Pro with the game's size around 17GB.
The game itself is available on Playstation 4, Playstation 5 (with backward compatibility), Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows (PC). The digital size of the game depends on each platform. For Nintendo Switch, the game takes 12GB and the PC version takes 20GB.
1. New and Addictive Hack and Slash Gameplay
Now, we’re going to the gameplay experience of Persona 5 Strikers. This time, the gameplay is different from those of Persona 5 and the Royal expansion. In combat, players no longer fight using the Turn-Based system, but instead with the Hack and Slash system akin to Dynasty Warriors series. This new gameplay makes playing Persona 5 Strikers unique with various skills and the dynamic combinations between each playable character.
We played the game for two more hours non-stop due to the interesting story that the game offered. Not only that, but every gameplay and the story presented are supported with catchy music that can pump up the mood, starting from cutscenes, battles, to the options menu.
From the graphics, not much has changed. The game still maintains Persona 5’s identity. But for those of you who have seizures, we suggest you not to play the game, because there are a lot of bright colors that pop up suddenly, and added with fast and dynamic movements, forcing the brain to follow it in quick succession.
Aside from the new gameplay, Persona 5 Strikers still maintain the free roam gameplay. Similar to the previous games, you can enjoy the scenery of the Shibuya district in Japan and many others.
2. A Sequel to Persona 5
Going to the story, Persona 5 Strikers is a continuation to Persona 5 where the main character, called Joker, returns to Tokyo to reunite with his fellow Phantom Thieves of Hearts. In short, the Phantom Thieves want to have a summer vacation and holding a campfire like university students.
But, everything changes into unexpected things because there is new software on smartphones that can help daily activities named “EMMA” which similar to the real-life “Siri” by Google.
Suddenly, all the Phantom Thieves face again with Shadow in another world called Metaverse using their smartphone as access to it and arrive in Shibuya that is filled by Shadow. This moment makes Persona 5 Strikers interesting, as well as introducing a new character named Sophia.
Sophia is a Super AI who can summon Persona in battle and can help the Phantom Thieves in the Metaverse.

3. Challenging Difficulty Levels
The difficulty level in Persona 5 Strikers is quite hard. It’s because, in battles that occur in dungeons or also known as raids, your health and SP will be limited. We suggest you buy sufficient recovery items before deciding to raid and don’t conserve your money, because it’s easy enough to get.
You don’t need to save your money or be stingy about it because the game’s playtime is shorter than the original game. Persona 5 Strikers takes around 40 - 50 to beat, while the original ones took around 100 hours to beat.
4. Verdict
