This week, the Solo Leveling anime aired the final episode, namely the 12th episode of the anime. After yesterday's episode 11 of Solo Leveling, you saw how Sung Jinwoo entered the Job Change Quest, there you can watch Jinwoo's fight against enemies who have the same strength as the enemies he has fought before. Jinwoo is also faced with a formidable enemy, namely the Igris Knight Commander who has extraordinary strength, power, dexterity, and fighting skills. Jinwoo was overwhelmed when fighting him, although, in the end, Jinwoo managed to defeat him.

After that, Jinwoo continued to face various tough enemies. Hundreds of armor troops were now attacking him relentlessly. Meanwhile, Jinwoo was starting to run out of energy to fight the enemies who didn't stop coming. So how will Jinwoo face these enemies in this episode? Instead of being curious, let's discuss directly what important things are in Solo Leveling Episode 12, which is the last episode of this season. You have to know that this discussion may contain spoilers for those of you who haven't watched the anime.

Review of Solo Leveling Episode 12

1. In the Brink of Death

Who doesn't get tired when they have to beat hundreds of enemies continuously? Jinwoo was the same, he was starting to run out of energy and strength fighting the endless hordes of knights. Jinwoo tried to use all his abilities in the fight, but due to fatigue, Jinwoo slowly started to get serious injuries all over his body. Until finally he began to hear whispers from people around him to just give up. He even heard his reflection blaming himself for taking risks and continuing to fight even though he wasn't strong enough.

Jinwoo kept hearing whispers that said he was weak and had no progress and was still full of weakness. Until finally Jinwoo was pressed, he was attacked by an armor monster and just as he was about to be beheaded, Jinwoo went into the punishment room because he had not completed his daily mission. While at the penalty location, Jinwoo took advantage of the time to shop at the store because he couldn't access it at the Job Change Quest location.

Jinwoo can now easily finish off the giant centipedes there. He also used the time to level up, buy new weapons, and train his skills to return to the Job Change Dungeon. When he returned to the Job Change Dungeon, Jinwoo was now stronger and more prepared with all the equipment he had prepared beforehand. Jinwoo also knew that a Monster Mage was controlling the steel knights so they kept appearing. Finally, Jinwoo was now able to stop the steel monsters after eliminating the Mages who were controlling them and Jinwoo completed his task.

2. The Journey to the Jeju Island

In this episode, while Jinwoo is busy fighting in the job change dungeon, he also follows the S-Rank Hunters who go to Jeju Island to carry out an attack. It seems that this is a scene that will introduce the audience to more story stages in the next season. This hints at fierce and thrilling battles, as well as other interesting stories to come in Solo Leveling in the future. On the plane carrying the hunters, Choi Jongin and Cha Haein are seen as the hunters who are on board, as well as several other hunters who have not yet been introduced. You can look forward to other interesting stories in the upcoming season for this attack on Jeju Island. Because at this time, only a little introduction to the next plot of Solo Leveling has been introduced.

3. Let go of Assassin, Changing to Necromancer

After successfully defeating the armor monsters that appeared endlessly, the system now offered Jinwoo to switch to a new job from an Assassin to a Necromancer. This new Jon was obtained by Jinwoo based on the results of his analysis while on the change mission. So it's not Jinwoo who chooses, but the system chooses for Jinwoo. At first, Jinwoo was doubtful. After all, so far he had never raised his Intelligence stats, only focusing on strength because he was an assassin.

Necromancer itself is a type of magic that allows him to summon undead or immortal demon animals to fight with him. So far, Jinwoo has focused on close combat styles, and this offer was quite confusing for him. Jinwoo wanted to refuse, but when he found out that this job was in the hidden job category, in the end, Jinwoo accepted this new job.

4. Becoming a Shadow Monarch

After accepting his new job, Jinwoo then experienced a lot of increase in his status. Moreover, he managed to complete the mission in the Job Change Dungeon far before the due date. This made Jinwoo gain a lot of points which could raise him to a higher class, defeating all enemies, HP remaining more than 50%, and several other achievements that Jinwoo got, making him now able to raise his new job to a second, higher class, namely Shadow Monarch.

Shortly after, Jinwoo revives the iron soldier enemies he previously faced with a new command word, namely "rise". As soon as he said the 'spell', Jinwoo succeeded in awakening his new soldier. Now he has a new skill too, namely being able to extract mana and store the shadows or soldiers he wants to keep.

5. Resurrecting Igris

After becoming a Shadow Monarch, Jinwoo understood the existing rules, where he might not be able to resurrect the enemy he had killed, depending on the time of death and strength which could result in the possibility of failure. Each shadow he has also has its level. This reminded Jinwoo of Igris, a tough soldier he had previously killed at a fairly high level. Jinwoo also tried to resurrect him, even though he failed 2 times in 3 attempts, in the end, he succeeded in resurrecting Igris to become his shadow soldier. This is a big moment for Jinwoo, as he gains a powerful ally in his quest for power.

With Igris by Jinwoo's side, we can look forward to even greater challenges and make Jinwoo more confident as Shadow Monarch. As this episode ends, you can see how excited Jinwoo is for the difficult battle ahead. But we can enjoy more action from Jinwoo and his friends for the upcoming season of Solo Leveling. We can look forward to the second season and the challenging battles you can expect more from Jinwoo's adventure to become the strongest. You can look forward to the presence of many new characters with various friendships, fights, competitions, and big battles in the future.

For now, that is the discussion that can be given regarding Solo Leveling Episode 12 END which now closes the first season of the anime.
