RRQ or TLID—which team is stronger? These two squads have been Indonesia’s most dominant teams since at least MPL ID Season 14. They faced each other in the MPL ID Grand Final, both qualified for M6, and were the last Indonesian teams standing in the ESL Mobile Masters.

In Season 14, RRQ dominated the regular season but suffered a bitter defeat in the Grand Final, falling to Team Liquid ID (TLID)—a team they had previously beaten every time that season.

TLID also performed better at M6, advancing all the way to the Grand Final, while RRQ was eliminated in the playoffs by SRG.

However, the tables turned at the ESL Mobile Masters. RRQ maintained their dominance, this time defeating TLID in the semifinals and securing a spot in the Grand Final. Unfortunately, they lost the championship match to ONIC PH.

ONIC PH has now defeated Indonesia’s two strongest teams in two different international tournaments within less than six months. They have a deep understanding of each team’s playstyle.

RRQ or TLID: Which is Stronger?

In an exclusive interview with Dunia Games, Brusko shared his thoughts. Having faced both RRQ and TLID—and defeating them at M6 and the ESL Mobile Masters—he offered an interesting perspective.

He believes RRQ is stronger than TLID, as they put up a much tougher fight compared to TLID’s performance at M6.

"RRQ was definitely harder to beat. Just look at Game 1 and Game 2 in the ESL Mobile Masters Grand Final—we struggled against them and had to drag it to the late game," Brusko said.

"To Kingdom and RRQ Hoshi, keep fighting. I know you can win MPL ID Season 15. And Skylar, make a strong comeback!" he added.

Despite now being an opponent, Brusko’s connection with RRQ remains. He still cares for his former team and hopes they achieve success in MPL ID Season 15.
