RRQ Hoshi lost to SRG OG in the second day of the Knockout Stage with a score of 3-2, officially eliminating the "Kings" from the competition. Following this defeat, RRQ Hoshi jungler Arthur "Sutsujin" Sunarkho apologized for the incident between RRQ and SRG OG. Sutsujin's statements about "revenge" and "wanting to bring SRG back" were considered quite controversial and drew mixed reactions from fans.

RRQ Hoshi Loses to SRG OG, Sutsujin Apologizes for Inappropriate Words
In an interview with Harimau Malaya Media, Sutsujin responded to the match between RRQ Hoshi and Selangor Red Giants OG Esports, where RRQ Hoshi lost to SRG OG with a score of 3-2, officially eliminating RRQ from the MSC 2025 Esports World Cup.
First, regarding RRQ's mistakes against SRG OG, Sutsujin stated that their performance wasn't as good as it was in scrims or practice. Furthermore, Sutsujin stated that the decision to face SRG was a mutual one.
According to Sutsujin, they chose to face SRG OG rather than ONIC, and RRQ Hoshi has no regrets about their decision.
"What we did wrong, I think, was probably because our team performance wasn't as good as it was during scrims," said Sutsujin. "Of course, (choosing SRG as our opponent) was a team decision. Logically, if we were asked to choose, we would have chosen SRG over the two ONIC (teams), so there are no regrets," Sutsujin added.
Speaking about SRG OG's performance, Sutsujin identified the most difficult players to face. All SRG OG players performed well. He also predicted that ONIC ID and ONIC PH would advance to the Grand Final.
"The most difficult (to play against)? None. All five of them played well," he said. "Maybe ONIC ID will face ONIC PH in the Grand Final," he emphasized.
Finally, Sutsujin expressed his gratitude to all fans and apologized for any miscommunication. He also apologized for RRQ Hoshi not being able to give their best performance at the MSC 2025 Esports World Cup for the Kingdoms.
"To the fans in Indonesia and Malaysia, thank you so much for all your support. If I've said anything wrong, I apologize, and I apologize to the Kingdom for not being able to give our best at the EWC (MSC 2025)," he concluded.
Although RRQ Hoshi lost to SRG OG, it was still a tense match, with both teams competing fiercely, going back and forth. Ultimately, the best-of-five (BO5) format used in this match was the only one, with both teams playing to game 5.
