Young ONIC Gold Laner Clayton "Savero" Kuswanto was recently rumored to be joining ONIC PH as a replacement for previous Gold Laner Duane "Kelra" Pillas.

Savero Joining ONIC PH is Real! Bluffzy Officially Rejoins for MPL PH Season 17

The news of Savero joining ONIC PH has been a hot topic among MLBB fans in the Philippines. If true, Savero would be the first Indonesian import to join MPL Philippines. On Monday, February 23, 2026, ONIC ID management officially announced their separation from Savero, reinforcing the suspicion that Savero was indeed joining ONIC PH and replacing Kelra.

ONIC PH officially announced their roster for MPL PH Season 17 on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. In this announcement video, ONIC PH officially collaborated with a leading Philippine automotive brand, adopting the "Racing" theme, similar to the launch of ONIC's new jersey for the 2026 season. Each ONIC PH player was introduced, starting with their coaching staff. Replacing Anthony "Ynot" Senedrin, Assistant Coach Jeniel "Haze" Bata-Anon was promoted to Head Coach.

Haze will be joined by a familiar figure within the ONIC PH team, with the return of Mark Kevin "Bluffzy" Delos Reyes as Assistant Coach. Bluffzy will not only serve as Assistant Coach/Analyst, but will also fill the role of Gold Laner. In the announcement video, Kelra also bids farewell to his ONIC PH teammates. However, as a replacement, he is then seen introducing Savero to the players. Savero joins ONIC PH for MPL PH Season 17 as Gold Laner.

The rest of the team will remain with K1NGKONG as Jungler, Super Frince as Midlaner and will also serve as team captain, Brusko as Roamer, Kirk as EXP Laner, and Ryota as EXP Laner/Subs. In this announcement video, ONIC PH also announced the new names that will be filling their MDL team.
