One of the interesting things about the Marines in One Piece is that the coat they wear never falls off. This occasion made one reader ask Oda how it happened.

In the SBS One Piece column volume 61, a reader asked, "Why does the robe worn by the Marines never fall no matter how often and quick they move?" Oda replied,"That's because on the back of the robe is written "Seigi" (justice). For the Marines, justice will never fall. As long as the justice spirit is in their hearts, their robes won't fall”.

Even if that was Oda's answer, maybe the real reason their robes never fall is that it’s tied to their uniforms with buttons or something. Makes sense, right? But for Oda's answer, according to us, it’s very philosophic and cool!
