Of the many members of the Marine, there are several mysterious figures whose abilities are still unknown, one of them is Tsuru. She rarely appears in the series and never been seen in a fight. 

In a column of SBS One Piece Volume 58, a fan asked, “I have a question. In Volume 57, Chapter 556, behind Tsuru-san, several pirates are being hung out to dry like laundry. Who hung them out to dry? Tsuru-san? I’m also curious about the reason behind it”.

Oda then replied, “They’re indeed being hung out to dry. That’s indeed done by Tsuru, the Marine Vice Admiral. She ate the Woshu Woshu no Mi. One might say she’s a “Laundry Human”. She can wash anything. Anyone she hangs out to dry, their hearts get a little bit cleaner. That’s a dangerous ability against pirates”.
