AWM, A Different Arctic Warfare Weapon From AWP

The AWM is a weapon from Accuracy International, the weapon factory from the United Kingdom. AWM itself is an abbreviation of Arctic Warfare Magnum. This is the only weapon in PUBG that used different ammunition. Most weapons in PUBG used 5.56mm or 7.62mm caliber bullet, but AWM uses Magnum bullets

Magnum bullets used by AWM is obviously bigger than 5.56 or 7.62 bullet, which explains why AWM has bigger damage when used in an FPS game. AWM and AWP is a different weapon but came from the same manufacturer.

AWP is a long barrel rifle from Accuracy International, which is a variant of Arctic Warfare. The difference between AWP and AWM is the bullet type and the length of the barrel. AWP has a shorter barrel than AWM and also AWP uses a smaller 7.62 caliber bullet.

The Best Long Barreled Rifle, But...

Many players said that AWM is the Best weapon in PUBG. It’s correct, but not 100% correct. Why?  Because AWM only has big damage. You can fire AWM from the distance and kill your enemy with one bullet, but the usage of AWM is limited to just that.

Aside from the big firepower, there are many weaknesses o AWM. AWM has a low rate of fire just like other sniper rifles such as M24 and Kar98k, which has a long delay when reloading.

Because AWM uses a different bullet, you can only look for its ammunition from a crate. Also, like other sniper rifles, AWM depends on a good scope, especially the 8x scope, which is a rare loot in the game.

AWM is Strong But Requires a Scope!

As explained before, AWM depends on the scope you are using.but what about other attachments? For muzzle you obviously need suppressor! Because AWM is a bolt-action rifle so you don’t need to reduce recoil with a Compensator.

What will happen if you use AWM without attachments? Well, it’s better if you just throw it away. Why? Because without its attachment, AWM is useless. That’s the reason why even if AWM is strong the usage is optional.
