In the PUBG MOBILE game world, there are many choices of weapons which have their own strengths and weaknesses. However, there are several weapons that are often overlooked by players, either because they are not popular or for certain reasons such as damage level, recoil control, shot speed, and others. A similar opinion was also expressed by AE Rosemary whose real name is Ryan Rolos, a rusher who represents the Alter Ego Ares team and won the title, MVP and Gunslinger in the PMSL SEA Spring 2023 tournament.

In a short interview with PUBG MOBILE Indonesia, AE Rosemary shared his views on a weapon that, according to him, was underappreciated by PUBG MOBILE players. According to him, the SLR weapon is a powerful weapon, but it is often overlooked by many players.

One of the main advantages of SLR weapons is their very high damage rate. However, AE Rosemary stated that the reason why this weapon was less desirable was due to the difficulty of predicting the distance the bullet would fall.

"Maybe because the bullet drop is difficult (to predict), so most people prefer to use Mini14, (plus) the bullets are the same as most people's main weapon, namely the M416," said AE Rosemary.

AE Rosemary also believes that another reason why SLR weapons are less popular is because the current meta game tends to use weapons for close combat, especially shotgun type weapons. He hopes that SLR weapons and other Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) weapons will receive more special attention so they can compete with shotgun weapons.

“Maybe the DMR weapon (needs to have) a special role to shoot far away, so it looks like a really artistic game rather than a shotgun. At present, most of the meta shotguns are playing the middle of defense, ready for the shotgun." said AE Rosemary.

“People who want to take over the house are already overthinking. Retake compound will also be really difficult because everything is shotgun ready. Those who get houses are also certain to be safe because (the enemy) is too lazy to push first," he explained.

When asked about tips for mastering SLR weapons, Rosemary ended the interview with a little joke. “You have to be handsome, so that the aim will follow as handsome as Wymer,” he said with his trademark joke. That's the opinion expressed by Rosemary regarding weapons that according to him are underappreciated among various other PUBG MOBILE weapons.
