A few days ago, Fast and Furious 9 was officially released. Where this ninth series presents two interesting characters, namely Han and Mia who work together to face the antagonists. The ninth film is a sequel to The Fate of the Furious (2017). The film still stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Jordana Brewster.

The film, directed by Justin Lin, also presents John Cena as a new character. The 44-years old actor plays Dom's brother and enemy who is very dangerous. The result was not as expected, Fast and Furious 9 only got a 60% review score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Speaking of Fast and Furious, which Fast and Furious film is the best? Take a look at the following list to find out.

1. 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)

It's actually quite difficult to determine which Fast and Furious film is the best. Because there are two series that are considered the best by their fans. One of them is 2 Fast 2 Furious which was released in 2003. This film is the introduction of a new person, Brian O'Conner (Walker) who in the end is very loved. The racing in this series is also quite impressive, especially wrapped in the story of a high-class drug courier. In addition to the racing, the audience was also entertained by the ridiculous behavior of the duo Tej and Roman.

2. Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)

In addition to 2 Fast 2 Furious, Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift which was released in 2006 is also the best series that is really worth watching. In this series, important characters like Brian and Dom will not appear. But there is a new character, namely Sean Boswell. Even so, this film manages to depict how Sean is trying to join the drift racing community in Japan by showing his abilities.

There is something interesting about Tokyo Drift, where the racing action that takes place in the crowds of Tokyo is not CGI.

3. The Fate of the Furious (2017)

After the death of Paul Walker, the next film is The Fate of the Furious which was released in 2017. The film that changed the word "Fast" to "Fate" is quite interesting, because the plot is really unpredictable. The film, directed by F. Gary Gray, written by Chris Morgan, returns with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Jason Statham as the core cast.

4. Furious 7 (2015)

Furious 7 is Paul Walker's last film. This film is an homage to the California-born actor. Among the Fast & Furious series released, this seventh series is the series with the saddest and most successful ending.

5. Fast and Furious 6 (2013)

Next is Fast and Furious 6 which was released in 2013. This film is special for Paul Walker, because in this film he is a policeman. Although the storyline in this film is actually disappointing, this lack is helped by the presence of the hilarious duo Tej and Roman, and Han from Tokyo Drift. Not to forget there is an actor from Indonesia, Joe Taslim who also participated in this series.

6. Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is a film that makes the Fast & Furious franchise no longer on the street racing scale. But on the approach of science fiction elements that tell of crimes at the level of human civilization. The focus of this series is also not Dom or other iconic Fast & Furious characters, but Hobbs and Shaw.

7. Fast Five (2011)

Fast Five is the fifth installment in the Fast & Furious franchise that is somewhat disappointing. The film begins when Dominic Torreto is being transported to Lompoc prison by bus. As expected, Dom was finally released by Mia Torreto with Paul Walker. Furthermore, the storyline is repackaged with car theft missions and wrapped in action. The fifth film is also the first film to introduce Dwayne Johnson who becomes Luke Hobbs, an agent of the American Diplomatic Security service.

8. The Fast and the Furious (2001)

Finally, The Fast and the Furious is the first film that was released in 2001. Being the start of a franchise it does not mean that it is the best film. Because the first film is actually very mediocre. Even so, this film became the forerunner of the Fast & Furious series with the scale of street racing that was very cool at that time.
