Doronjo Live-Action Series Reveals Its Cast in Second Trailer
The WOWOW's Doronjo live-action that revolves around the Yatterman villain, Doronjo, released its second trailer, featuring its full cast.

The official website for Tatsunoko Pro Soritsu 60-shunen Kinen WOWOW Original Drama Doronjo (Tatsunoko Production 60th Anniversary WOWOW Original Drama Doronjo), a Doronjo live-action series from WOWOW that revolves around the Yatterman villain, Doronjo, released its second trailer to reveal its cast members on Wednesday, 27 July 2022.
Wataru Ichinose, Yuma Yamoto, and Shunsuke Tanaka all play Doronjo's accomplices as Tonzuraa/Shon, Boyakki/Hyugo, and original character Esu, respectively. Daichi Kaneko and Hirona Yamazaki play as the enemies Yatterman-1/Gan Takaiwada and Yatterman-2/Aika Hijirikawa.
The Instagram account of the Doronjo live-action show also released its second trailer to reveal the cast. Doronjo live-action series will premiere on WOWOW on 7 October and will air for 11 episodes.
Elaiza Ikeda stars as Nao Dorokawa, a character who will later reveal herself as Doronjo. The show will feature the past and the life of Doronjo. The story will show her life in a harsh, impoverished environment and a series of tragedies that led her to become a villain.
The show commemorates the 45th anniversary of Yatterman. The project also celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Tatsunoko Production studio and is titled Tatsunoko Pro Soritsu 60-shunen Kinen WOWOW Original Drama Doronjo (Tatsunoko Production 60th Anniversary WOWOW Original Drama Doronjo).
The original Yatterman series first premiered in 1977 and led to the release of a Yatterman movie anime in the same year. A new Yatterman series aired in Japan in 2008 for 60 episodes, followed by an animated movie in 2009. A Yatterman live-action movie also premiered in the same year.
