At the end of the episode, fans were shocked by Gojo's helplessness in front of Geto Satoru who revealed who he really was.
He is referred to as Kenjaku, a quite important figure in the history of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. You might be confused about who Kenjaku really is. This time, Dunia Games will provide a little explanation about the mysterious character Kenjaku in Jujutsu Kaisen that you might want to know.
Who is Kenjaku in Jujutsu Kaisen?
You might be confused at first before Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 tells a flashback of Geto and Gojo's relationship because, since the beginning of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series, Geto was introduced as an antagonist and an opponent of the jujutsu sorcerers. It was only in the second season of the anime that it was explained how Geto used to be a close friend of Gojo who both attended Tokyo Jujutsu High School. However, since he left the school, Geto began to change and follow his ambitions which were quite extreme and different from other Jujutsu sorcerers.
In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 episode 9 yesterday, fans were even more shocked by Geto Suguru who attacked Shibuya and trapped Gojo so he could be put in the Prison Realm and seal it. It was then that Geto showed who he really was when Gojo asked who the person who looked like his best friend really was. Geto then opened the stitches on his head and revealed a brain and a talking mouth.
The talking brain is known as Kenjaku, an old Jujutsu sorcerer who has lived for more than 1,000 years using his innate technique, which can transplant his brain into another person's body and control their existence. This was a cunning method he used to avoid death many times and kept him alive for over 1,000 years.
Kenjaku has continued to live for years by moving from one body to another, until now using Geto's body as his vessel. We might think Geto is dead because, in the Jujutsu Kaisen Vol 0, it was shown that Gojo killed his best friend. However, because Gojo did not ask Shoko Ieri to clean Geto's body at that time, as a result, Kenjaku took over Geto's body and became the mastermind and manipulator of all the chaos that was happening in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen in the present day. He won't stop until he achieves his goal, and he is a cursed energy that has unlimited knowledge so it is quite difficult to finish him off.

In Japan's Meiji era, Kenjaku managed to steal a vessel from one of the important families in Jujutsu society, namely the Kamo family. Kenjaku succeeded in taking full control of Noritoshi Kamo who became the ancestor of the Noritoshi Kamo you know in the current generation. This then resulted in the formation of the cursed womb and the painting of death that you find in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime today. Because of this heinous incident, Noritoshi is considered a stain on the history of the Kamo family and is considered the most terrible jujutsu sorcerer in history.
Kaori Itadori

Geto was previously killed by his best friend, Gojo, after leaving the Tokyo Jujutsu school and carrying out actions that were quite contrary to the Jujutsu sorcerer school.
At that time, Geto Suguru's body was not cremated or cleaned up by Gojo or Shoko Ieri, his close friend. Because of this situation, Kenjaku took advantage of this situation to take over Geto who then continued to live as Pseudo-Geto and even gained the power of Geto's curse and became the mastermind and manipulator of all the chaos that is happening in the Jujutsu Kaisen's world today, and he will not stop until he achieves the goal.
