The fifth season is set in 1929, and tells the story of the downfall of Shelby's business and the conflict between Tommy and Michael. This season revolves around supernatural elements involving the Gypsy's curse on Shelby and Esme's fictional family. The Gypsy's curse is vividly depicted in Peaky Blinders.
