Skylar Leaves RRQ After 5 Years with the King

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, management finally announced Skylar's departure from RRQ via the Team RRQ YouTube channel. In the announcement video, Skylar is seen sitting on the "sacred chair" that has become the backdrop for RRQ players' farewells from the team over time.

In his farewell video, Skylar revealed his career journey with RRQ, starting with the MDL team and eventually earning a promotion to the MPL team in Season 7.

"The first time I wore the RRQ jersey, I was probably happy. It was my first time as a pro player, so I was happy to wear the jersey, and for RRQ to be my first team as well," Skylar said. Skylar then shared his personal growth and the process of becoming a more mature person.

Skylar described his career journey. He mentioned that VYN and R7 taught him a lot and shaped his skills as a professional player. Skylar revealed his experience as champion with RRQ in Season 9, as well as his near-championships in Season 10 and Season 14.

Skylar then shared messages to all the remaining RRQ Hoshi players, including Dyrennn, Idok, Rinz, and Sutsujin, as well as the coaches, Khezcute, and NMM. Finally, he received a final certificate of respect from Team RRQ. Finally, Skylar left RRQ with a touching message.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported me from the beginning until this point. Thank you so much. Maybe I have different goals, I'm still pursuing my career and dreams, so I, Skylar, say goodbye," he concluded.
