Solo Leveling returns with another news. After previously announcing the anime adaptation, this time it was announced that Solo Leveling would be getting a spin-off manhwa. The announcement was made via KakaoPage's official Twitter account, an online portal that publishes upcoming works and other webtoons.

The upcoming spin-off – titled Solo Leveling: Ragnarok – will officially debut on April 10, 2023. The spin-off is rumored to be written by the original writer Chugog, but there is no news yet as to who will replace the late original artist Dubu, who passed away last year.

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is believed to be focusing on Sung Jin Woo's son, Sung Suho, but there hasn't been any leaks regarding the storyline. However, it is likely that the story continues the Solo Leveling web novel series in which Jinwoo's son, Suho, embraces his powers as a descendant of the Shadow Monarch.

Solo Leveling is a manhwa that was initially started as a web novel created by Chugong, before it received a webcomic adaptation in March 2018 by Dubu, CEO of REDICE Studio as the artist. This manhwa eventually gained popularity because of its dynamic story that keeps readers excited. REDICE Studio is a South Korean-based art studio that also worked on various webtoons and webcomic adaptations of well-known webnovels in Korea, such as Omniscient Reader, The Reaper, and Solo Leveling.

Solo Leveling manhwa was ended with a total of 179 chapters in December 2021, with the studio currently working on a Solo Leveling side story to honor Dubu's passing. So far, there have been around 12 Chapters released that follow the adult life of the main character, Sung Jin Woo, who's now married and has a child. That child is who will be the main protagonist in the upcoming spin-off.
