Synopsis of Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf

This anime tells the story of Holo, a powerful harvest goddess who is revered in the small town of Pasloe for blessing the annual harvest. However, as time passed and the villagers became more independent, Holo has now become mere folklore. Finally, she met a trader named Kraft Lawrence who stopped at the city settlement. Kraft spent his life as a traveling salesman who sold various goods from his horse-drawn carriage.

When he arrived in the village, Kraft met a beautiful girl who had animal ears and a tail. The girl's name is Holo, the wise wolf who is the goddess of the harvest. Holo could produce abundant harvests so she offered him a business partnership in exchange for Kraft having to carry her along the way as she wanted to return to her home north of Yoitsu. Now, the once-lonely merchant and the once-lonely wise wolf have come together to begin their journey north.
