In episode 19 of Spy x Family, we saw how Anya and her school friends comforted George Gloeman, a student who thought his father was on the edge of bankruptcy, believing that he'd get expelled out of school. There was also a series of action scenes involving Yor who tried to deliver Anya's uniform, which got left at home, by parkouring throughout the city. This time around, Anya continues her adventure at Eden Academy, which begins with a school assignment. What kind of task does Anya have to do? How will Anya complete the assignment? Will Anya succeed in doing her schoolwork well this time? Here's the recap of the latest episode. Without further ado, let's get into it.

1. A School Assignment

In this week's episode, Teacher Henderson gives a Social Studies project assignment, which requires the students to conduct a research regarding any job that piques their interest. Since they are also allowed to ask about their respective parents' occupations, many of Anya's friends intend to ask their parents about their jobs. After school, Anya tells Yor about her assignment, with Yor thinking that the daughter wants to research her secret job as an assassin, which conjures up disturbing scenes in her mind. However, Anya wants to do a research on Loid's job as a psychiatrist at a hospital, which is actually just a cover up for his real job as a spy.

2. A Research on Loid's Job

Loid has a fake job as a psychiatrist at the Berlint General Hospital to cover up his true identity as a spy. Anya comes along with him, dressed in classic detective outfit to complete her report by keeping a close eye on Loid at work. Anya asks several questions for her school work report, and meets the people who work with Loid at the hospital, who make Anya elated as they keep giving snacks to her. Instead of writing down the things Loid says about his job as a psychiatrist, Anya instead writes down the things Loid thinks about his real job as a spy.

3. Anya Faces a Crisis

When visiting Loid's consultation room, Anya reads Loid's mind, which reveals a secret passage behind a large bookshelf, which is meant as an emergency exit for his mission as a spy. When Loid receives an emergency call from a WISE agent knocking on his office door, Anya sneaks into the secret passage.

While crawling on the secret passage, Anya listens to the conversations of other doctors in other rooms and causes them to panic as they believe there's no other room above the room they're in. It turns out that, at that time, Anya has his leg stuck and is unable to move, and she gets panicked. And, she needs to return to the consultation room immediately before Loid arrives and finds her in his secret exit.

4. Anya’s Report

After making observations and completing her report on Loid's job as a psychiatrist, Anya finally returns home and compiles her own report. The next day, Anya presents her report in class. At first, the report reads fine and everyting goes smoothly, with everyone in class seemingly having much respect for Loid because of Anya's delivery. 

However, Anya wrote other things that aren't related to Loid's job as a specialist doctor. Anya reads her notes on the many things about spying, much to the confusion of the others in class, who start to picture terrible things about Loid's job. This surprises her classmates, even Teacher Henderson is also shocked by Anya's report. As a result, Loid gets summoned to school because of the strange report on his job.

5. Deciphering the Perplexing Code

Once again, because of her favorite spy anime, Anya copies her favorite character, Bondman, by writing a top secret code. Anya then asks Yor to help her write down the secret code and make several copies of it. After that, Anya hands those papers to the people around her, starting from the mothers who live in the same apartment as her, Becky, Damian, even to Franky, Loid's top informant, who later mistakenly believes that the cipher is actually a love letter that tells him to meet at 8 am on the next Saturday. Without knowing who sent the letter, Franky is certain that the letter was from a female spy who has a crush on him.

Franky gets up early to come to the rendezvous, while Anya is still fast asleep in her bed. Well, it's not Anya if she doesn't mess things up.
