The remakes of the first two Suikoden series, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, have been delayed until an unspecified date. Konami said that the team in charge would try as quickly as possible to be able to release this game. Through his Twitter account, Konami announced this.

"Even though our team has tried their best to develop the remastered version in 2023, additional time is needed to ensure the quality of performance and playing experience so that users can feel satisfied," wrote Konami's announcement on its Twitter account.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will be released for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC via Steam for an undetermined time. This remake will improve the quality of graphics, cutscenes, characters in HD, sound, and others.

Suikoden is a classic JRPG that was first released in 1995 for the PlayStation with its sequel Suikoden 2 released in 1998. The upcoming remake will be the first time the series has been released again for consoles. Wait for further news!
