As you know that the Marvel Superhero, Thor is the Asgardian God of Thunder. Thor’s power is beyond ordinary human and able to take down giant creatures that as strong as the Hulk. His weapon is Mjolnir that always accompanied him in every battle. Mjolnir hammer itself cannot be lifted by just anyone, only Thor and those who are deemed “worthy” by Mjolnir can lift and control it. So, did you know that Thor’s hammer can be lifted by other superheroes in Marvel Universe and even DC?! Here are some of the superheroes who managed to lift Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir:

10. Captain America

In Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, you definitely see a scene where none of the Avengers was able to lift Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, even Captain America was unable to lift it. And finally in Avengers: Endgame there was this one scene that surprised all of the audience, it was when Steve Rogers (Captain America) was able to control Thor’s Mjolnir. He used the hammer to save Thor who was nearly killed by Thanos.

9. Hulk

You must have watched The Avengers film which released in 2012. In the film, you can see how Hulk was unable to lift Mjolnir when the two were fighting. However in Marvel Avengers Assemble #4 comic (2012), there was a scene that showed the Hulk who was under Thanos’ control able to withstand Thor’s attack to beat Thanos. Hulk managed to steal Mjolnir from Thor’s hand and slammed the hammer into his face.

8. Magneto

Magneto is a mutant character in Marvel Universe who is able to manipulate and control all kinds of metals, however who would have thought that Magneto was able to lift Thor’s hammer Mjolnir. In Marvel The Ultimates #5 comic (2008), there is a scene that tells about Magneto’s grief who just lost his two children Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. In grief, Magneto is able to use his electromagnetic power to steal the Mjolnir. Magneto wasn’t actually lifted the Mjolnir, but he only manipulate the metal in Mjolnir so he could control it.

7. Superman

Superman described as a very powerful superhero in DC universe. The superhuman from Krypton was told to have lifted Thor’s Mjolnir and also used Captain America’s shield. In the crossover comic between Marvel and DC titled JLA/Avengers Vol. 4 (2003), it was said that Superman lead the Avengers and Justice League to face Krona. In a fierce battle, Superman managed to lift Thor’s hammer and use the power of Captain America’s shield to defeat Krona. He was able to do that because he got Odin’s permit to lift Mjolnir even for a moment. After Superman won the battle, Odin then revoked the permit.

6. Beta Ray Bill

In Marvel The Mighty Thor #337 (1983) comic, Beta Ray Bill was said to have lifted Mjolnir. Ray himself is an alien from a race known as Korbinites. In one scene, Ray was on a mission to find a new place for his people to live, however Ray met Thor and the two fought. During the battle, Mjolnir fell and it turned out that Ray was able to lift it. The reason why Ray was able to lift Mjolnir because he was worthy and wanted to use it to protect his people.

5. Rogue

Rogue, whose real name is Anna Marie, is the Marvel superhero created by Howard Mackie, Mike Wieringo, and Terry Austin. Rouge herself made her first appearance in Marvel Avengers Annual #10 comic that published in 1981. This beautiful woman was said to have succeed in lifting Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir. In What if..? Vol. 2 #66 (1994) comic, Rogue managed to absorb Thor’s power and memory which then allowed her to lift Mjolnir. This allows Mjolnir to move towards Rogue because Mjolnir seems to recognize Rogue as Thor.

4. Thunderstrike

Eric Masterson is an ordinary guy who works as a construction worker. He was then given the hammer and the power of Thor when the real Thor must leave Earth and Asgard. Unfortunately, Eric Masterson did not replace Thor for long, because the real Thor finally returned. Eric Masterson then became a new superhero called Thunderstrike.

3. Vision

If you watch Avengers: Age of Ultron, you’ll be able to see the scene where Vision was able to lift Mjolnir and hand it to Thor. Although his body is an android, but every part of his body and his organs is exactly the same as human -- only several times stronger than ordinary human. Vision has many superpowers; he can fly, able to create hologram to change his look, manipulate his own voice and also able to detect energy and sound.

2. Storm

Storm is one of the members of X-Men and has the power to control weather. In a story in the comic, it was said that Loki left from Asgard and tried to hypnotize someone to kill Thor. Well, Storm who at that time was Loki’s target and was given a fake hammer called Stormcaster. However, the truth is Storm was not affected at all but she still fought against Thor. Here, Storm fought against Thor only to destroy Stormcaster using Mjolnir. In the story, Storm was able to prove she was worthy to wield Mjolnir just like Thor.

1. Wonder Woman

Besides Superman, it turns out the female superhero from the DC universe, Wonder Woman has also managed to lift Thor's Mjolnir. At that time, Thor lost Mjolnir during the battle between DC and Marvel characters. Then, Wonder Woman and Storm fight over Mjolnir to defeat each other. Interestingly, Wonder Woman managed to get the hammer first. Unfortunately, Wonder Woman lost when fighting against Storm.
